   Absolutely loved this pub!! We had a fantastic meal off the Mother’s Day set menu. For £38 pp, we got a glass of champagne, bread and butter for the table, a starter, main course, pudding and coffee with a chocolate truffle each! Incredibly good value, and insanely delicious food. To top it all off, the service was excellent. They were attentive and super friendly, but also not overbearing! We will absolutely be back again, this is the best pub experience I’ve had in a long time. Thank you Butt Inn team!

   Our Mothers Day meal at The Butt Inn was absolutely excellent. We were greeted with smiles, “Happy Mother’s Day” & quickly shown to our table. The service was really good, only topped by the wonderful food. The food was excellent quality & could attract a much higher cost, but I’m glad it didn’t. We will definitely be returning very soon. Thanks to everyone at the Butt Inn

   I had the lamb rump. The potato gratin was virtually non exsitant very small portion, all the food in my plate was lukewarm warm and not a generous portion. Not worth £22:50.. The lamb was very fatty, not the type of fat possible to eat. My son had ham egg and chips, the egg was broken, overcooked and no sign of any yolk to dip chips in, always a treat with this dish. Other two diners meals were ok. I didn’t complain as it would have disappointed my daughter who was treating me for Mothers Day. We have eaten there before and have enjoyed much better meals.

    Received a friendly welcome and service was attentive and polite. The menu choice was good (not complicated or clever) and the food was excellent. Premises were clean and well maintained.
