                                  Everything was delicious, especially the beets appetizer and the risotto. Not a lot of vegetarian options on the menu, but they will modify menu items to accommodate vegetarians. Overall, a lovely place for dinner.

                                  We always enjoy that Buttonwood is quiet enough to have a normal-volume conversation. We do wish that they’d add an entree special to mix up the menu a bit, but whatever we select is usually very good. The service is top-notch, a rarity in restaurants these days.

                                  Food was just ok. not amazing. dessert was lame. worst part was the part when we got rushed to order dessert, then rushed with the bill.

                                  Great food, great service. Unfortunately the noise level is so next level that we won’t return. By the end of the night my voice was hoarse from having to yell across the table. Couple who were seated to our right as we sat down requested to move to a corner bc of the noise. Wish we had taken that queue. Tables are small so should have been easy to hear the person across but there are too many tables and no sound buffering. Otherwise great neighborhood gem. Maybe a great place to sit solo and have dinner at the bar (with earbuds in).

                                  The risotto was very flavorful and seasonal. Loved the squash. The arugula salad has always been a favorite but last night it was soggy and wilted. Very disappointing. The table next to us was occupied by two people with loud piercing voices. Certainly nothing the restaurant can do about that but it did detract from our enjoyment. Cocktails and mocktails were spot on. We will return and hope that Buttonwood hits it out of the park as it always has in the past.

                                  Our party of 6 was pleased to find Buttonwood open for dinner on a Monday night. We had tasty cocktails, wonderful starters, great main dishes, and a quiet-enough ambiance that we lingered after dinner for conversation. Our server was helpful and efficient. Top notch!
