    Amazing place for couples, wonderful atmosphere with great friendly staff and delicious dishes and also good range of wines. We will book it again :)

    The most delicious main courses, meat cooked to perfection in exquisite sauces and flawless vegetables, topped off by a sumptuous, indulgent dessert. Servers were polite, attentive, but unobtrusive, exactly as they ought to be.

    A good value fine dining restaurant with a French soul. The onion soup is so tasty and the beef cheek rarebit accompaniment is great.

    Really tasty starter Tart Tatin - Brie & Caramelized Shallot Tart Tatin with Celeriac Puree |and Cranberry & Pine Nut. My main was the Spiced Cauliflower Blini with Carrot Purée, Warm Beetroot Salad and Hazelnut Dressing. I wouldn't have known there was cauliflower in the blini which just tasted of potato. Needed more carrot puree but the beetroot salad with hazelnut dressing although a very small portion, more a garnish really, was great. The Dark Chocolate & Tonka Bean Torte with Sour Cherry and Milk Ice Cream was chocolatey and a bit ho hum definitely needed the sour cherry and ice cream to lift it. A nice French Sauvignon went down nicely. Our lovely Spanish waitress was very attentive and called a taxi for my friend when she became ill during the meal and then deducted the price of my friend's main from the overall bill which was very good of the restaurant.
