The Café Brio, located in Victoria, has been a local favorite for twenty six years, serving up a rustic, Italian inspired menu. Focusing on regional products, Café Brio led by multi awarded Chef Sam Harris selects the highest quality ingredients from local sources to be used in authentic, creative dishes.

At Café Brio, everything is prepared in house. Pasta favorites include gnocchi with roasted leeks, parmesan cream and basil purée, Spaghettini with tomato, garlic, basil, olive oil and parmigiano and also our wild mushroom risotto. From the Sea enjoy seared scallops with peroxides, delicata squash, carmelo and bacon anchovy vinaigrette or our local fish feature. Lastly the Parry Bay Lamb feature from our friends out in Metchosin is an absolute must.

The wine list is extensive with input from multiple Sommeliers on staff always excited to share their new favourite bottle in our unique and cozy dining room.

The early bird menu offered choices and the our selection of salad, seafood dish, and dessert were excellent for a very reasonable price. Our server also did an excellent job.

I found the entree just ok this time. The $17 five ounce glass of wine was over priced. We have been coming here regularly for years. The meal was disappointing.

Excellent service and I would go back for this. Good attractive ambience lighting Comfortable setting all good for me. Food: Gnoch carbonara was good but I couldn’t help thinking carbonara spaghetti would be better. Same with bolognese should be spaghetti too. I ordered tagleatelle bolognese. Bolognese sauce was good but for the lack of good words not quite tasty or complex. Finally miso sablefish didn’t taste sable fish. For me it is too much of sweetness and saltiness killed the fish. I like sablefish marinated or glazed but normally you would want to taste the firm and tender flesh with slight natural oiliness. This dish didn’t have any of it. I would come back for the staff. They re very nice attentive and comforting.

Our server was great! Recommended a wonderful feature wine that went well with our appys and duck. Although the food was great the service elevated the experience to a new level. Food was delicious and worth the experience and price! highly recommend this place if you're wanting high quality food

Fantastic meal--- got there before 5:30pm so hubby had the 3 course special (meatballs, soup and creme brulee). I have both gluten and cow dairy allergies so they did my strip loin meal with roasted potatoes with spinach and manchego--- amazing! Great wine list!

The food at Cafe Brio is delicious and I so appreciate the fact that you can order half portions which are just perfect. The wait staff are always very friendly.
