   I had lunch with a friend that I haven't seen in awhile. We had the best time, I loved the table we had as well. The food was great too. Next time I would love to come sit at your beautiful bar.

   Our return to Cafe d’Alsace tonight after several years away (pandemic, personal reasons) reminded us why it held a regular spot on our rotation until 2020. The food was as excellent this evening as it has always been, and the service was perfect - helpful and attentive but not intrusive; thank you Steve! We will be back again, soon and often.

   Always a great experience at Alsace. An oasis in the neighborhood with a clean, open and airy feeling, bright decor, and plenty of space. Simple and authentic bistro cuisine. Excellent wine list. Mature and experienced servers help make the experience complete. Excellent wine list tops it all off. We’re happily becoming regulars.

   Great food and drinks, perfect brunch! If you reserve for a specific time, it’s unlikely that you’ll be seated early.

   Ordered the house omelette. Delicious. My husband loved the shakshuka. Service excellent. Steve with friendly and accommodating re any order modification. My favorite brunch restaurant on UES.

   Although I made a mistake with my reservation, and it wasn’t until we were going to be seated that I realized it, the restaurant went above and beyond to accommodate us. Their service was on point, the staff stayed with us through the night allowing us to make our selections without being rushed. The Old Fashioned had bold flavors, served in an elegant short glass, garnished with an orange peel, and a mini fig, it was, smooth but rich and with deep character. The steak and burger dishes were very well presented, prepared to exact perfection, and extraordinary flavor and quality. I would say this restaurant is one that I suggest to friends and will definitely visit again during my trips to New York. Excellent place with lively ambiance.

   As usual, everything about this restaurant makes it a lovely place for a group of friends to enjoy a weekday lunch. The menu is interesting, the food always excellent and the wait staff is lovely and attentive.

   The food was delicious. While the waiter was attentive we were very rushed. As soon as we ordered, the appetizers arrived two seconds later. When those were finished our main dish arrived one second after that. It would have been nicer if there was some downtime to enjoy the meal.

    Everything was great. We just moved into the neighborhood and we will be back our waiter Steve was especially attentive and the risotto with duck was delicious
