   Love this place but last night they had an off night for us. Service was a little slow and inattentive. Ordered the grilled seafood platter but it arrived fried. Person that delivered the food didn’t seem much interested in redoing the order. I couldn’t redo it anyway as we did not have the time to wait. It wasn’t terrible, just not the same experience as my previous visits to the restaurant.

   They have the best steaks in Acadiana. If you are a steak lover you have to try this restaurant. Get the ribeye cap.

   The Sea Bass was absolutely delicious! It’s my go to on every visit. My husband had the ribeye cap. It was beyond incredible!

   We had an amazing dinner at Cafe Josephine. We started with the crawfish nachos and they were delicious. For the main course we had the prime filet andno-filler crab cakes. Both were very delicious. Staff were very friendly and our drinks were never half empty. We will definitely be going back to try other dishes.

   I checked good for all but overall as I had no choice but to select something but didn't want to choose poor and affect the restaurant's rating too badly. My wife and I made reservations through OpenTable for 8:15. Arrived at 8:15. It was very busy and was told it would be 15-20 minutes. It was 45 minutes before we were seated. Our waiter brought us waters per our request and I asked for a couple of minutes to decide on a meal. More than 10 minutes passed and we never saw our waiter again, that is until we started walking out. We have had good experiences in the past but Cafe Josephine really let us down.

   Food was phenomenal. We had a reservation for 8:15, arrived at 8:00 and still had to wait 45 minutes for a table so the reservation was pretty pointless but the food made it worth the wait.

   EVERYTHING we ordered was AMAZING!!!! Crab Rolls, seafood gumbo and a filet…everything cooked to perfection!!!! They were very busy as usual but our server was outstanding!!!

    The overall experience was very underwhelming, we have been here previously and was definitely not as good as previous times. My husband ordered the ribeye cap medium, it was more medium well and the sweetie peppers where not on there which was very disappointing since that is one of the things there steaks are known for. We also ordered the Eggplant which was suppose to have crab in the sauce, definitely no crab or even the taste of crab was found. Also the sauce was congealed on the plate so it was sitting under the lamp for awhile that did really affect the taste but after waiting an hour for food it was disappointing.
