    We chose the Cafe Lviv because the downtown is a mess and we needed parking. There is ample parking. The cafe is beautifully decorated. The server was welcoming and helped explain the cuisine. The washroom is up a few steps but very easy to find and very clean. The food was delicious. We had vegetarian cabbage rolls , meat cabbage rolls, chicken crepe, and the sample platter of pierogi. All were served hot and were homemade. The deserts were yummy, Naples cake with delicate pastry and custard, a unique honey cake, and cherry pierogi. Tea was served hot in a tea pot and the coffee has small chocolates to accompany it. Overall, a really delicious meal for a cousin’s reunion. We will return and I hope the business flourishes even after the downtown returns to normal post construction.

    Warm and welcoming atmosphere. Service/staff attentive and friendly. Food is excellent. Parking is sufficient.

    The restaurant was clean and comfortable, and the staff was very attentive. The food was excellent - a true home cooked meal.

    Cafe Lviv was an authentic Ukrainian experience. Tatiana was our server and she asked all 5 of us our names and remembered them all throughout the evening! The food was great - between the five of us, we tried almost everything on the menu. We happened upon this restaurant by mistake and we are so glad we did! We will definitely be back.

    The food was delicious and the service was even better! We went for lunch and shared the Broscht that came with a garlic dill bun, the veggie cabbage roll and chicken perogies. Had a lovely chocolate, cherry cottage cheese cheesecake for dessert. Our server was so warm and hospitable although it was really busy and she was alone of the floor. Definitely going back the next time we're in Port Hope.

    Because of the great reviews on Cafe Lviv, I made a reservation for after a show. Cafe Lviv did not disappoint. My 92 year old mother & I shared our meal. We started with the mushroom soup which was fabulous. This was absolutely the best mushroom soup that I have ever tasted. We had the cabbage rolls & an apple & cinnamon crepe. our meal was excellent and the service was exceptional. We will definitely be returning to this gem of a restaurant.
