The food was absolutely delicious. The soup of the day was exquisite, I couldn't believe how tasty it was. The mussels, the bread was so fresh and flavorful! The servers were all very pleasant and friendly, great service. I highly recommend Caffè Italiano.

They listened to every specification I had made! They made my mothers 60th an absolute perfect evening!! Treated us to a celebratory glass of champagne, a birthday dessert and stellar service. We felt very catered to and I know my mom felt amazing 😊 They also made it easy for my 98 year old grandmother to enjoy herself by giving us an easy accessible table so she also had a fabulous time!! Thank you sooooo much!!!!

It's difficult to make a 'fine' restaurant out of this place that was designed for horse racing/betting. But, that doesn't stop Caffe Italiano from offering a top spot to dine. The food is excellent, as is the service. The presentation of the food would match most of the best eateries in Ottawa. Prices are not over the top. Very surprised and impressed with our outing.

Cafe Italiano at the Rideau Carleton Raceway is one of my favourites! The food is great, the service friendly and efficient and the price very good value. Plus the ambiance is fun if you like horse racing! But even without the racing, it would still be a great choice.

We are frequent patrons of Caffe Italiano and it is always a great experience. Our server, Ally is the best. She is able to anticipate our needs throughout the evening.

My two friends thoroughly enjoyed their meals (steak and egg and waffles and chicken. I was disappointed with the quiche lorraine. I have had it on two previous occasions and it was delicious. It seems you have changed the quiche recipe. The crust was way too thick and there was not enough filling.

Great restaurant. Staff is exceptional - welcoming and helpful. Food is very good. Only downfall is the chairs are not comfortable your space is quite cramped.
