I went to Caffe Milano with two friends and we absolutely loved it! The atmosphere is so nice and they have done such a great job with it. Our food was outstanding - we got the Arancini appetizer and then decided to get three meals to split. The chicken francaise was the best I’ve ever had and we loved the pasta dishes. So fresh and flavorful. Dessert was amazing as well. Our waiter was excellent and we were all impressed. Word is going to get out fast about this incredible new restaurant!

Caffe Milano is housed in an unpretentious converted diner. The exterior is a true 1940s roadside silver mobile diner giving no hint of the superb Italian food served inside or the sophisticated interior decor---blue velvet drapes, leather-like chairs, faux marble bar running the whole length of the room, gold chandeliers from one end to the other, and Italian opera playing in the background. We were there at lunch-time and the place was full of customers. Service was very attentive. The steak and caramelized onion sandwiches we ordered came with a caesar salad as a substitute for the standard fries. For dessert, we ordered tiramisu and creme caramel, both excellent. We'll be going back soon to try the dinner menu.

This is a gem! The food is delicious, the place is so cozy and the staff are truly interested. The owner is charming and considerate. We’re going back! Soon! Make a reservation!

Food was wonderful, service was excellent. The space itself is small which is fine but it was very cold out so every time the door opened you got hit with the cold and sitting next to a window was also cold.

We had heard good things about this relatively new Italian restaurant. We decided to try it with another couple. It was really excellent. Housed in a former diner, the ambience is nothing diner-like. It is quiet with soft music; the tables are along the windows of the "diner" and there is an ample bar with barstools. The wait staff were personable and kind. The food was really great. The wine list was not huge but eclectic and we each found by-the-glass choices that we enjoyed. We will definitely return.

Overall it was okay, not somewhere I’d go back. The veal entree was very good the pasta on the other hand was not. Too chewy and undercooked . The amount you get for an entree I don’t see the food being worth the money especially if the food isn’t cooked properly. So all in all I would not recommend this restaurant and if you go during cold weather make sure to have an extra jacket.

Unique experience, dining in the smartly converted former breakfast diner. Good food. Attentive and friendly service. Peaceful environment. Thumbs up.

Our waiter was top notch- very informative. Answered all our questions about menu choices. I had Veal Saltimbocca, served over mashed potatoes and sautéed spinach- delicious! My husband had lamb chops with mint jelly. He said it was the best he has had in a long while. Drinks were good. Will definitely go again!

A new South County favorite. High end Italian food that’s delicious and made from scratch. Everything was spectacular. The pistachio artichoke avocado salad is sooo good. The lasagna was perfection. The veal chop was amazing and the fries are by far the best I’ve had anywhere except my mother’s house. The tiramisu was just the best way to end such an authentic Italian dinner but the coffee blew me away. Best coffee in the whole state.
