First off overall this restaurant is great. We have been several times. However we did have some issues upon arrival. I made our reservation a few weeks before hand for 7:30 for the outside dinning area. I called the day before to confirm our reservation and if they had a back up plan in case of the rain. I was told our table was under the covered area and it wasn’t a concern regarding the weather. When we arrived we were told we would have to wait 15-20 mins even though we had a reservation then when we were seated it was initially indoors which was not what the reservation was for. When I asked the hostess what happened to sitting outside we were told “rain” but it wasn’t raining and the rain had since past plus we were told our table was under the covered area so it didn’t matter. Then we were moved outside to a table with an umbrella that was sopping wet. There were two table under the covered area that needed to be cleaned off and I asked if we could please have one of them since that’s what our initial reservation was for. After that they got us squared away. The server was great, the food was great and we enjoyed our night. I would just say that the hostess was not the friendliest and if someone has a reservation especially when they called the day before to confirm everything then the restaurant should not jerk them around to two other tables before getting it right. Our desserts were comped due to the issues in the begging of the night. I’m sure we will come back but some retaining needs to take place with the hostess.

The atmosphere and delicious food makes us return time after time. Even on a rainy day- the outside seating is my favorite!

The service was excellent and the staff was very accommodating of our large group for my birthday celebration! The food was outstanding!

Service was marginal. Had to ask for bread twice. Had to request water refill. Wine order came after meal. Waitress was grumpy.

It’s one of my favorite restaurants in Pawleys Island. The food and service are consistently great. Charlie is a wonderful server. I ask for him each time.

Great experience from entry to exit. Outstanding service from the hostess to our waiter Charlie. Recommend the old fashion from bartender Beca. Stuffed peppers appetizer and crab cake/ veal saltambuca with turtle cheesecake to top off a great evening

Went for our anniversary, one of our favorite places , the food and service are always excellent, the outdoor patio reminds me of Italy, beautiful, we always bring our visitors here for a great experience
