   The server did a good job on a very busy day and the food was great. Not sure if this is customary but we had to ask for bread.

   This location has been going downhill for a while now. It has become consistently inconsistent. I should learn my lesson, but I go back because it is close to my house. This visit wife and son order the special, brisket nachos. It was basically a pile of chips with hardly any cheese or other toppings. There was maybe two or three small chunks of brisket on the entire dish. My burger was fine, served with cold fries though. We had a to-go order that was placed when our food arrived and we had to wait for a while after finishing and paying because they forgot to put the order in. Definitely didn’t feel good with the $100 price tag considering we didn’t have drinks/cocktails or anything fancier than a burger and some to-go chicken wings.

   The food was solid—racks of ribs to salad and sides, everyone was happy. The service was the highlight, though. Our server was invested in making sure things were just as we wanted or better, from a specialty cocktail I asked if they could make to ensuring our meals came just as we requested. He was attentive and remembered every detail. It wasn’t too crowded, so noise level was just right. Just a nice night to relax and enjoy ourselves. We were in from out of town, or we’d definitely go back.

   Our server was amazing he accommodated our allergies and didn’t give us any problems with it and he was a pretty cool and chill guy

   Good food. Great service. Great deal on the wine on Tuesdays! But be careful what wine you pick. The merlot was not very good!

   I’ve made my last trip to this Calhoun’s. I normally dine at the oak ridge location every week for the prime rib and it is delicious and never have any issues. We decided to try the one in turkey creek. At 530 they had no baked potatoes. I ordered the 12 oz prime rib medium rare and it was so tough I could hardly chew and the spinach Maria must have been reheated bc it was dry and the topping was hard. Then we ordered the dessert special of strawberry shortcake and yes they were already out at 630. We ate there a few months ago and it was the same way..3 different items they were out of. Obviously there is a problem with the person who does the ordering.

    Food was not great - got a Turkey Creek Salad - not much meat- mostly spinach. Service was good.
