Camden Spit & Larder, a modern London-inspired eatery, in Downtown Sacramento on Capitol Mall. Chef Oliver Ridgeway showcases the pristine ingredients of the surrounding region with its bold design, bustling bar scene, and prime private dining facilities. Camden is comfortable yet elevated. We are located just a few blocks from the Capitol and Convention Center and just steps from the Golden 1 Center. This is the perfect place to dine pre-show or concert. Camden S&L was a restaurant 'Recognized by Michelin' in 2021, 2022, & 2023.

    I went here for lunch and it was an excellent meal at a reasonable price. I had the tomato bisque which was fabulous, then was completely enthralled with the ahi tuna salad. I was totally full and happy with my meal and the entire experience. Service was quick and attentive (even though the place was very busy with the holiday events) but not intrusive.

    We’ve been frequenting Camden Spit & Larder for the past few years, and unfortunately, last night’s dinner was the least memorable experience we’ve had. We started with the tuna tartare, which was fine, but things went downhill when it came to the popovers—a signature item we’ve always looked forward to. We had to request them from our server, and when they arrived, they were cold, hard, and stale. After bringing this to the server’s attention, he quickly apologized and brought a fresh batch. Sadly, these were only mildly warm, burnt, and still disappointing. Three of us ordered the meat pie, which was good and satisfying, but the chicken dish was far below expectations and left much to be desired. The ambience, as always, was pleasant, and the cocktails were undoubtedly the highlight of the evening. Overall, while the service was attentive, the food quality didn’t live up to the standards we’ve come to expect, making this visit less memorable than our previous ones.

    One of my favorite spots. The meat pie is always spectacular. French dip on the lunch menu is fire too.

    Camden is an absolute go to as one of the TOP spots for great food and excellent service in Sacramento. All of the politicos go there and we even saw Coach Mike Brown of the Sacramento Kings dining. Make sure you check out Camden and ask for Brook as your server!

    Convenient parking in garage next door makes the drive into downtown so worth it to eat at this delicious restaurant. The food was excellent, as was the service. We look forward to adding this to our list of favorite places to eat.
