I will dream about this meal. Definitely the most incredible Italian dinner we’ve ever had. First of all, the restaurant is gorgeous. The staff is incredibly attentive and amazing, and Fadil provided incredible recommemdations and service. The food was so incredible. I couldn’t decide which pasta I wanted so he gave me a sampling of all 3! Incredible! We had the baby artichoke appetizer, my husband had carpaccio which was outstanding, and the egg and spinach soup was amazing. He also had the veal parm and loved it! I will never come to NYC without having dinner here. Outstanding!

Whenever I'm in NYC I always make a point of having dinner here- The veal chop is amazing and I always have several items on the menu that are favorites- Saturday night was super busy. I have no idea how the hostess keeps the show going, but, they run very efficiently. Two issues: My wife and I split the Cesar salad for $15.00 and it was basically the size of an airplane side salad in Coach on United Airlines- Guys, you can do better than that. The wine list is off the charts expensive- You have to have options for those that aren't on expense accounts and want a good wine for under $135.00 Other than that, we'll be there for dinner next time we're in NYC. Our dining experience felt like the establishment really didn’t want us back ever again. We were ushered to our 5pm table in a timely manner - this is the only good thing I can say about the restaurant. The table was cramped with servers constantly roaring by, a noisy birthday party with unruly kids across from us and a fellow diner persistently bumping into my chair. Our waiter sped through the explanation of the specials and attempted to clear our dishes before we were done. As for the food, the linguine and clams was way too salty and the pasta special wasn’t that special. To give you a sense of value, we asked for spaghetti and meatballs and were charged $24 for the pasta and $20 for the meatballs ($5 each). STAY AWAY. I have worked and managed restaurants, so I understand how it is a difficult business, so I generally only leave positive reviews and stay silent on not so good experiences, but this is probably only the second negative review that I have ever posted.

Beware of them ripping you off! I was charged $51 for chicken parm which when I asked, was told it’s not on the menu but that they could make it. They charged me $17 for a SMALL side of pasta with sauce and $34 for a single chicken cutlet, $51 in total for a small portion of “chicken parm”. My dinner date got a veal item - no drinks, apps or dessert and the grand total was $95. I was FLOORED. Never ever again would we go there and I would NEVER recommend anyone else does either.

Service was atrocious. The staff is incredibly rude. I was appalled. The food does not make up for it either. The fried calamari just was not good. Pasta and veal mains were fine, but portion was small.

From the minute we walked in, we knew it was special. A locals kind of place that has atmosphere, wonderful staff, and fabulous food.
