                                                                                                                        The food was fantastic. Highly recommend the beef cheeks. The service was slow. The bar was constantly behind in drink orders, one dish did not come out on time and overall it seemed the staff wasn't paying attention much. The restaurant is cute, but cold. The door would open and an icy blast would come in. They could use to install some drapes or other means of keeping the dining room warm.

                                                                                                                        We had an early dinner (5:30) which we appreciated as the noise level started to rise around 6pm. Our server was very good (although she did try to upsell us on appetizers, which we didn’t appreciate). The beet salad and the ceviche appetizers were both excellent. My dinner partner loved the marisco paella - he asked for the crispy rice option (socarrat). I had the vegan paella, specifically asked for soft rice, but got the soccarat. After a few bites, I had to send it back because I really, really don’t like that scorched and chewy socarrat rice preparation. That threw off the rhythm of the meal, as my dinner partner was finishing up when my meal arrived. The vegan paella pales in comparison to a meat-or-seafood paella, but it was nice to have an unusual vegan choice for a change.

                                                                                                                        Dining at Can Font was an outstanding experience. The food an service were excellent and it was wonderful to have a dining experience where we didn't feel rushed as table turn over did not seem to be an issue. We will be back!

                                                                                                                        Had high hopes for Can Font as I see it’s busy all the time but the food was a total miss. We ordered some appetizers and a paella and the paella was inedible. Staff was overwhelmed but friendly.

                                                                                                                        This has got to be one of the best restaurants in Portland. Their food is consistently excellent and every item on their menu is special. The seasonal offerings are on point as are the items they have consistently. The service is also just great - friendly and attentive. They do a great job pacing out food with the kitchen and when the guest is ready for the next course. Everything is so well done that most guests probably don't realize how well orchestrated everything is.

We drove from Eugene, Oregon. The food was on point, wonderful atmosphere and great service! Did not disappoint and would go back again.
