Canoe is located in Atlanta's historic Vinings area on the Chattahoochee River where Buckhead meets Vinings.
Canoe's beautiful historic riverside setting makes it the perfect spot for weddings, receptions and private celebrations.
Its original cuisine and distinctive design have already been featured in Bon Appetit, Food And Wine, Gourmet, The Wine Spectator and The New York Times. Canoe, recipient of the prestigious Mobil 4 Star Award, was also selected as one of the "Best New Restaurants" in the country by the James Beard Foundation.

                                      I'm a Canoe lover but last night's dinner wasn't as good as previous experiences. Monkfish special was decent - fish fine, sides not great, pork chop not good, but snapper and apple salad were excellent. A decent dinner but certainly not up to expectations

                                      Great location for a business meeting. Good was excellent as was the service. We were in and out in an hour. And love having valet parking.

                                      First time returning in 15 years. Asked my wife to marry me here back in 2005. I was disappointed. Glad to see non-alcoholic beverage options but slow refills on drinks and the main course Pork Chop was ugh, had better at Longhorns.

                                      The salmon appetizer was AMAZING! Loved the arugula salad as well. Dressing was delicious. Service was delightful!

                                      Their famous kangaroo is served basically raw, the chef only does a light sear on each side, but the meat is rare, it tasted like steak to me. Their rabbit and pasta dish was really good, and I can’t wait to go back to try some of the other proteins like their salmon. The bread and butter they serve at the beginning of the meal is refrigerated/cold. I would’ve much preferred it being warmed up when being served, especially since the butter was cold and not softened. They were very accommodating with my party when it was taking us a couple of minutes to get situated before going back to our table. I also brought cake, and they were nice enough to store it for me during the dinner, and then bring it out with candles at the end of the dinner. I actually forgot to bring candles for the cake, so I was very glad to see that. The bill was around $230-$240 for five people. We had three appetizers and four entrées, 1 alcohol drink. I requested we be sat next to one of the windows, and they were able to honor that request for my birthday, behind the restaurant with the outdoor seating is so insanely, gorgeous, I completely understand why it is used commonly for weddings.

                                      We love Canoe! Food is great, service is spectacular (thank you Chris!) - it just gets REALLY loud if you're next to a table of 9 women who are drunk (in the morning no less), and they just get progressively louder the more drunk they get! Wish people would have a little more consideration for their fellow diners.
