Amazing restaurant on the beach, watching the waves and amazing sunset. The food was freshly prepared (fresh Opaka), vegetables from local farms and sashimi that was best on island. We celebrated our anniversary, met the chef, our service was perfect, and it was everything we wanted and more. Top notch!

We had eaten here before and loved it. This time food was not as good. Setting is stunning but don’t want to spend that kind of money unless food is better. Chicken was undercooked, steak too rare, fish had no flavor, shrimp was cold.

The views are the best part of this restaurant. You have an amazing view of the beach that is out of a magazine which sets the ambiance quite nicely. The servers were courteous but the food took an hour for our food to come while others got theirs quicker. The food was very expensive for what you get, and although the presentation was nice it truly wasn’t worth the value. Come here for a sunset drink, totally worth it. Eat elsewhere.

The atmosphere, ocean front, is an obvious five star. But At my dinner table I would never serve a guest dinner on chipped plate, at the canoe house chipped plates appears to be standard fair Both of our entrees were served on chipped plates. I was surprised at the kitchen’s lack of detail. We both ordered snapper catch of the day it was over cooked, nice crunch on top but a tad dry. The service was cheerful and attentive. The salad, roasted carrots and pineapple genoise delightful. I was disappointed I was expecting better. I have eaten at this restaurant before, two years ago, The Canoe Club has slipped the chef needs to tighten their presentation.

The food was delicious. I thought the size portion of the sides and appetizers was really small, but the entrees were normal.

Beautiful setting on the beach but screaming kids in tables close by ruined the evening.

We always look forward to dinner at Canoe House, but were all disappointed this last visit. The pull apart bread didn't come with its normal presentation and was delivered cold. Instead of quality tea normally served in a cast iron pot, just plain matcha powder mixed with water in a messy pot was served. The full lobster and side dishes were great, however not the other three mains. The fish of the day was a bit over cooked, and the tofu was tough in the tofu bowl. The views would have made up for it, however even after making a reservation well in advance, we were put in the inside back corner of the restaurant.

I found out they have a relatively new chef. I noticed the menu was more asian oriented which for my taste is great. Compared to around a year ago, everything was so much better. My family said they would all like to come back.

Great food, even better service. All items tried were tastier than the next, multiple servers very attentive. Also had the pleasure of chatting with the beverage manager Reed. He deserves a promotion. Recommend strongly.
