Capers on Main serves contemporary American fare with a Southern influence in an open kitchen restaurant. Start the meal off with a serving of hickory-smoked salmon in a dill mayo sauce, Southern style green tomatoes, or the best calamari in the city. Capers offers a diverse menu including mouth watering pastas, Hawaiian ribeye, apricot glazed New Zealand lamb, Mississippi catfish, Herb crusted grouper, Georgia mountain trout, and daily specials.

This is an excellent restaurant. The menu is always changing (which is good). I would always like to see a steak on the menu that can be prepared without gluten (soy sauce) but that's just me. Great meal!

Our waiter was just amazing. He was so nice & gracious & caring. Food was good . The only negative was the young hostess that sat us, not very congenital.

Capers is one of our favorite restaurants. Our recent visit was on Easter Sunday. The food is always delicious. We’ve eaten many of the menu items and are always happy with our selections. That toasted strawberry pound cake is absolutely phenomenal!!!!!

Everything was great from the food, service to the cleanliness of the restaurant. Hands down one of my favorite restaurants along with their sister restaurant Fish Thyme.

I really wanted to enjoy Capers Restaurant & Bar, but unfortunately, it did not live up to the hype. I had read several reviews warning not to waste my time—and sadly, they were right. The food was a letdown across the board. The sweet mashed potatoes were watery and lacked flavor, and everything came out lukewarm at best. There just wasn’t any excitement or care in the presentation or taste. Service was average—nothing particularly bad, but nothing to rave about either. What makes it worse is that just down the road, Fish Thyme absolutely nailed it. The food there was outstanding in comparison—flavorful, fresh, and served hot. Capers may have a reputation, but in my experience, it didn’t live up to it. Disappointed and won’t be returning.

Peach French toast never disappoints! The seafood is always extremely fresh and the service is impeccable. They the bruschetta as an appetizer, it's nothing like you've ever experienced. Both Capers and Fish Thyme are always spot on!!

The wait staff was wonderful our waiter Scott was awesome. It is typically a loud restaurant, as are so many restaurants. Food was great as usual!

We had a very good experience at Capers. We were there on a Friday evening, arriving at about 6p. We were seated immediately and the server came to our table right away with menus and to get our drink order. I ordered the trout and my companion ordered one of the specials, the stuffed lobster tail. Both entrees came with two sides. The trout was delicious! My companion said her dish was also delicious. Service was veru good. However, the acoustics are a problem. As more and more diners arrived, the noise level got worse and worse. It became difficult to conduct a conversation with my companion. Everything else was top-notch.

We had reservations and were immediately seated upon arrival. Our waiter, Chris, was great! Pleasant attitude, attentive, and checked in on us regularly. Food and drinks was great and everything came out quickly. Can’t wait to dine again soon!

This place is an absolute neighborhood gem! The food is amazing and so is the service. The ambience is also fantastic and the fact that you get some very good music by a person with a wonderful voice is truly the icing on the cake.
