   Arrived on time for 6:15 PM reservation. Seated at table right in front of door with a server station within 3 feet of us on other side. Loud and busy. Server seemed like a robot. Pasta dishes were not good. Was expecting cozy and warm but this seems like an impersonal chain restaurant.

   This Resturant is overrated and a huge disappointment from the Trust Resturant group. Both food and service were way below expectations.

   A very good dinner at Trust group’s Cardellino. It’s a combination steakhouse and pasta place but somehow they manage to pull it off very well. In fact, I’d say as a frequent traveler to Italy, while there are zero truly great Italian restaurants in the SD area, Cardellino prepares truly excellent pasta dishes, in addition to a great steak. Probably the best in SD. The prices are up there - everything is ala carte. A great evening.

   Very nice atmosphere and friendly service. No problem finding street parking on Easter Sunday.

   Our server John was really great at recommendations and helped us pick off the menu. It was our first time there so we didn’t know what was good and what to split. The only thing was they did give us a table outside and the sun was beaming down on me for a bit but when I asked if they can give an umbrella or block it out they did what they could which I found amazing and accommodating! Our table was small but we were able to eat our food fine. The staff was just very warm and welcoming . The food was amazing ! The carpaccio was spot on and we literally licked the plate, the spicy rigatoni was AMAZING! And went great with our ribeye! Also! If you’re going to get any meat get the truffles it adds so much more depth and flavor to the steak. Thank you again John!

    Initially we had a good experience, the waiter was well informed and we got our appetizers relatively quick. After this it took over 50 minutes to bring out our entrees after watching many other tables get their food before us. They clearly forgot or mishandled our order which was only two pasta dishes. Was extremely disappointed in this and for the price I am not sure I will be back
