We have been coming to the island for over 35 years and going to this restaurant since it opened at 3x on our week trips. Last night was the worst dinner service we have ever had. The first host dressed in all black was not properly trained and was rude. She was on her phone the entire time and when we said we had a reservation for 8pm she said she had no idea when she could seat us and she would only notify us if we sat the bar (not on the beach just outside because the bar was full). She also couldn’t locate our Open Table reservation even though I showed her on my phone. We walked up every 10 minutes till like 830 and not until we pointed out 3 open tables did they seat us. Props to the second host in gold who was able to properly use the host tablet and provide service to us. We ordered the Saturday special Tomahawk steak and it came out well done. It was so bad we had to send it back. The only good quality of our service was our server. He was wonderful and accommodating. I own a restaurant restaurant back home I would never let my hosts get away with that behavior of level of service.

The food was fantastic, service is slow. It can get loud at times but sitting at the bar alleviated some of that.

We were in the middle table and could hardly hear each other. While the server was pleasant we had to wait a long time for water. The fondue was amazing and highly to be recommended

Food was excellent. I noted on my reservation we were celebrating a birthday however it was not acknowledged. That was disappointing.

We were celebrating our 32nd wedding anniversary and they made it so very special! Wonderful table with lovely view of the harbor and the food was outstanding! We enjoyed the Caribbean stuffed lobster and filet mignon, which were both cooked to perfection. Our server, “the Ambassador” took great care of us. Can’t wait to go back!

Lovely view of the bay. Was seated promptly with reservation. Ordered drinks then dinner. Cocktails good, wine by the glass selection below par. Dinner arrived literally minutes after we ordered as if plated dinners ready to go. My room temperature seared wahoo fish was good more medium than the described medium rare -again not spectacular. My boyfriend ordered the Curry Hotpot, was tasty. Server very nice and professional possibly overwhlemed with number of tables to cover. Had to ask to have water refilled and get another drink. Meal was good for the price on this island not outstanding. Restaurant has high ratings but there are so many great places to eat on St Thomas would not go out of my way to go here again, even thoughit is minutes fro my condo.
