At Caribou the surroundings are comfortable and the focus is contemporary cuisine of exceptional quality. Signature dishes created by our Chef include certified Angus tenderloin, cedar plank salmon, black and blue ahi tuna and wood oven pizzas. Our desserts are prepared in-house by our pastry chef. We feature an extensive wine list with numerous vintage wines as well as over 30 wines by the glass.
Caribou Restaurant + Wine Bar opened in November of 1999. The menu has been developed over many years of visiting restaurants all over North America and the world. Options represent Italian, Asian, Cuban or any other styles of new and exciting cuisine.
Caribou has been listed in "Where to Eat in Canada" for several years running and the wine list has earned the "Wine Spectator Award of Excellence" every year since 2002.

    Caribou continues to be one of our favourite local restaurants. Food is always spot on and ambience of this restaurant is exceptional. We wouldn’t ask for tonight’s server again and wish we had been assigned in someone else’s section, but due to the quality of food, still 10/10 recommend this restaurant.

    Great meal sitting at the bar. We enjoyed drinks, apps and mains. Victoria was the right amount of attentive and engaging. Meal was fantastic. Definitely a place to go whenever you want great food!

    We made a reservation for 2 for 6:00 on a Friday and requested a booth. Booth was ready when we walked in. We were greeted with complimentary champagne because it was our anniversary! Service was quick, friendly and efficient. Food was delicious. Cocktails were VERY expensive. ($17 for a negroni, $15 for an average glass of wine).

    Thank you for coming in for your Anniversary. We have a variety of cocktails to offer. Some 1oz cocktails and some 3oz cocktails, and are priced accordingly. The negroni's are a 3oz cocktail for $17 and our wines by the glass are 7oz, where as other establishments offer a 5oz glass. Cheers.

    Caribou is a gem in our community and enjoyed another great meal and bottle of wine this evening. Our server Donnie was off the charts incredible, recommending a bottle of CabSav we had never tried along with the most delicious peanut butter chocolate cheesecake to wrap our evening following a delicious meal. Thank you Donnie for your attentiveness! You're a definite asset and look forward to seeing you again.

    We had a great experience at Caribou! Our food was exceptional, the service was fantastic by Sarah and we thoroughly enjoyed our evening.

    Hi Laurie, thank you for your inquiry. NYE is the busiest day of the year. This NYE had more reservations for 2 guests than larger groups. To get reservations in without a possible wait requires us to maximize seating. We kept the larger tables for groups of 3-4 people and sat groups of 2 at smaller tables. On these busy nights, you may see larger tables open, or 2 guests being sat at a larger table. Usually the reason being, a last minute cancellation, or a reservation not showing up, or a group of 4 reducing down to a group of 2, or even a reservation running late, so we have to change the seating plan. We manage it the best we can, and everyone was seated without delay, with over 200 guests in reservations. We do not guarantee specific tables, but you can certainly ask.

    We enjoyed the special New Year’s Eve menu , adding cocktails, wine, and espresso with our delicious desserts. Superb service, excellent meal, and a festive ambiance. Highly recommend!!

    Veil was bland, salad was just romaine lettuce with some sliced pears and dressing, bruschetta was covered in onion and hard to eat as the toppings were not cut up, just long stringy pieces of onion and peppers. Disappointing food experience. The beef short ribs and chocolate mouse were excellent.

    Our party has been here multiple times, food is always excellent, the restaurant can get a bit loud when closer to full capacity.

Although the server is doing well, there are some issues with service that need to be addressed, as there was plenty of time to make your visit more enjoyable and reflective on the service you expect and deserve.
