Carlos restaurant is a pretty cool place. The vibe is very much what you would expect from a cantina. Drinks during happy hour are great. Chips and salsa are good with a very firm chip. The regular salsa is good the extra spicy salsa is very hot and tasted like it was made from ghost peppers. The entrees are typical Americanized Mexican dishes not very authentic but more like Texmex.

Food was just ok. Queso wasn’t hot and not much flavor. Ceviche was good. Tacos not the best. Chimichangas were above average. Would I go here again. Probably not.

We came as a large volleyball team and families, party of 26. Our servers took care of us and went the extra mile to split the bill by each family. Service was great and well organized for such a large party. And we were not the only large party, they were busy! Thank you for helping us have a great team dinner!
