Specializing in creative American cuisine and thoughtfully crafted cocktails, Carson Kitchen sits in the heart of Las Vegas' downtown dining scene. Carson Kitchen is built on a philosophy of reimagined comfort food prepared with approachable fine-dining ingredients. The restaurant concept originated in 2014, opening in the historic Fremont East district of Downtown Las Vegas, a partnership between chef and restaurateur Cory Harwell and his dear friend, the late Chef Kerry Simon. Designed to bring a carefully curated experience to our country’s unique & vibrant neighborhoods, Carson Kitchen features a contemporary bar, open kitchen expo counter, and community tables in an industrial yet inviting architecture.

    I used to love this place. It used to deserve it's 4.5 Yelp rating; it no longer does. It's now painfully mediocre. The staff, especially the hostesses, looked like they had just rolled out of bed. There appeared to be zero joy or enthusiasm from any of the staff, including the kitchen staff. The chicken sandwich was something worse than I would expect to buy at a walk-up and sit on a park bench and eat. We also had the deviled eggs (not terrible, but no joy sparked), the hot dog bites (even less joy), and the green beans (which probably qualified as good).

    Dining at Carson’s is a must for me when visiting Las Vegas. Have never had a bite I didn’t enjoy here. This time our party ordered the hot dog ends, pot roast sandwich and jus dip, cauliflower and NY strip. Steak was cooked perfectly. The cauliflower dish was extraordinary and packed a wonderful garlicky punch. Sipped on a wonderfully complex fernet and amaro cocktail throughout the evening as well. Rich and delicious food with unique and interesting flavour combinations. Service was attentive, warm and fun.

    Love this restaurant, excellent food and great service, 3rd visit in 2 months. Deviled eggs were delish, burnt hot dog ends were yummy, Black Rice Octail Risotto EXCELLENT! Ran out of room in our tummy's to order dessert this time! HIghly recommend this great local gem!

    Hands-down, Carson Kitchen has the best turkey burger I have ever eaten -- tasty and juicy (not dry like others I have tried)! My last visit was years ago, so I was delighted to see the Jerk Turkey Burger still on the menu, and that it was still as delicious as ever.

    Food was great, learned about the place from previous customers, and tried several appetizers, only drawback was they were out of a couple of items on the menu due to a large party and some of the food came late because of the same reason, but food was terrific

    We love Carson Kitchen for the delicious bites and awesome service. The team really knows what they're doing and delivers a great experience and a top notch meal. Some stand out favorites are the Deviled Eggs, of course, Killer Shrimp, and Hotdog Burnt Ends, but we've tried many more dishes and there were no disappointments. The table favorite dessert this trip was the Bread Pudding! Thank you Carson Kitchen ❤️

    We had another great experience at CK. It's in our annual rotation for pre-show dinners at the Smith Center. Our Server Bianca was working her tail off with at least 1/2 the floor in zone. Through it all she was attentive and responsive. We aren't big eaters and like grazing so the menu is perfect for that. We ordered the Brussel Sprouts Caesar, Killer Shrimp, and Gyro Tacos. Our only complaint would be that the tacos were short on the cucumber and tomato so the ground lamb and feta cream was a bit on the heavy side. Overall another great experience. We will be back.
