Casa do Frango Piccadilly has a large, light-filled restaurant with signature greenery, traditional tile friezes and ceramic pieces from across Portugal. There is also a sunny street terrace for alfresco dining in the warmer months.

Casa’s menu is inspired by the rich culinary history of Portugal and the wider Mediterranean. True to Portuguese tradition, there is an emphasis on cooking over a wood-charcoal grill. Everything at Casa is made fresh in-house, using top quality, locally sourced ingredients. The food is complemented with an all-Portuguese wine list, cocktails, mocktails and Super Bock beer on draught.

Disappointed. Have been to one near London Bridge which was wonderful, but we were going to the theatre so went to Picadilly on this occasion. Chicken was overcooked, pastes de nata was runny and undercooked. And I took someone who was traditionally Portuguese. - so very embarrassing.

Turned up with a booking and waited for 15 mins before someone saw us and they didnt have a table for us. Manager was not interested and place looked unorganised. Dont take bookings if you dont have a table. Just basics!

Terrible experience from the moment I walked in. I waited nearly 10 minutes just to be seated, and was then greeted by a rude waitress who made a scene, accusing me of having an attitude simply because the bartender couldn’t make the drink I requested (tequila, sparkling water, lime). No alternatives were offered but a simple message “the bartender can’t make your drink”. The atmosphere was ruined, and I ended up leaving. Extremely unprofessional service, especially given the location.

So we ordered the Piri-Piri Chicken, the grilled chorizo and the fire grilled veg. The vegetables were cooked on point and were great, however, I was not too impressed with the chicken, it was not piping hot when served and overall taste was not to my expectations. In all honesty, you're better of going to Nando's.
