Created by Ivo Diaz, The Nomad and Eleven Madison Park mixologist, and resident abuela and Executive Chef Isbelis Diaz. Casa Ora is a family owned and operated Venezuelan-American Fine Dining restaurant located in East Williamsburg. We serve refined farm-to-table plates and modern cocktails.

We are focused on bringing the beauty and nature of Venezuela to New York City. In times of political injustice upon Venezuelans, Casa Ora is dedicated to donating a portion of profits to families forced to seek asylum due to lack of human rights resources such as food, clean water, and government protection.

    The food was nothing mind blowing, certainly not Michelin worthy. The empanadas were extremely dry and the yuca fries were cold. The steak plate was nothing to rave about, especially for the $64 price tag. Service was fairly slow and felt like we weren’t dinning in a premium restaurant. The seating was uncomfortable and close quarters, so we weren’t able to actually enjoy the meal. Overall, this place is a solid 6.5. I probably would not recommend this to anyone in the future.

    Our server Jlo was outstanding ,food was amazing as well as the drinks I would definitely recommend and give it 5 stars oh I almost forgot the dessert it was amazing !

    We enjoyed the food very much. The place was a bit dark so it’s hard to read the menu but once we got through the ordering the rest of the dinner was lovely.

    Casa Ora is a great addition to our neighborhood. Beautiful presentation, nice cocktails, good wine listed. Ambient is nice but I spacing between tables are really too close. Take out one table from each area would offer more comfortable dining experience. I understand the real estate in NYC, but it's something to be considering.

    Casa Ora is the place with all the food, drinks and ppl 10/10/ The elegance of the restaurant offered to you a nice and great vibes. So proud with all the staff for their amazing work. Ive being there more than 1o times and always gets bette and better. Venezuelan food taste DELICIOSOO!!!

    We booked the table in advance to celebrate a birthday, they gave us a table in front of the main door instead of the main dinning room (every time the door is open you feel the cold air). Service was disappointing, waitress was approach in Spanish, she reply in English in a bad mood. Then she forgot and started to speak Spanish. It took about 25 minutes to get our drinks order after we sat. They didn’t have Tequeños (main Venezuelan appetizer) and didn’t even bring a candle for the bday person (17). Prices quit expensive for arepas and empanadas. Overall a disappointing experience.

    We went for brunch. The waitress wasn’t particularly friendly but was efficient—meals came out in good time and she gave recommendations when requested. The appetizers were delicious but the variety in cocktail selection was the fun part and the drinks were so enjoyable! Kudos to the bartender! Environment-wise, the place was a bit drafty, wish it felt cozier
