The only issue I have had and almost always is the back up at the front desk when trying to give your name for a reservation. It seems that’s the only problem that is still occurring. Once seated, service and food is always great.

as far as I’m concerned, a server should never bring two dishes out when there are four diners at the table-that means the two people‘s dinners are getting cold while the diners without a plate in front of them have to sit and wait and that as far as I’m concerned is WRONG behavior on the part of restaurant management-why can’t the food runner bring a tray with four dishes on it? Why can’t two runners bring two dishes each -at the same time? I find this to be completely Unacceptable. This never happens in any other fine restaurant I’ve done that and I’ve been dining at fine restaurants all over the world for 50 years.

Sat in the outdoor atrium for dinner. Everyone was happy with their food (branzino, pasta with clam sauce, chicken piccata and shrimp scampi. All the dishes were delicious and the atrium is beautiful. Service is always on point.

I was hoping the food and service would be better based on reviews and pictures I had seen. Come early if you don’t want to valet as they come off a majority of the spots in the parking lot. We sat down and the waitress for whatever reason did not engage with my fiance when it came to ordering, I wouldn’t call it ignoring but it was close. We ordered a bottle of wine and only a glass for me came. It was a good 10 minutes before the waitress came back and we received what we ordered as well as a glass for my fiance. We started with the fritto misto as an app. We wouldn’t order again but the bread that comes to the table was good. I had the ragu which needed some salt and my fiance had the lasagna. The sauce didn’t really taste like much in either of our opinions. I had also notated on the reservation that we were there for my fiancés birthday and mentioned our waitress that we were celebrating. She did not ask what we were celebrating and no candle came with the dessert we ordered (and paid for). And a gnat was vigilant about joining our meal no matter how many times we flicked it away.

Food was so good, even the salad special (pear/gorgonzola) that was as good as it gets with a fresh-tasting delicate dressing. Side sectiwas remarkable on on permanent menue for changing weekly specials was a helpful idea. Some lovely design touches including the small slim light on the table instead of a candle - innovative and very helpful. On a very busy night our service was still excellant and felt personal. One aside: I managed to leave the restaurant without taking my credit card, but almost immediately got a call on my cellphone to pick my card up at the bar. They have a whole system for customers as forgetful as I am. Grazie mille!

Our server, Emily, was a delight and did everything she could to please us! The food was delicious and the portions were generous. The interior renovations were lovely but there was nothing installed to dampen the noise level. Even with just 4 at our table, we had a hard time hearing each other!

We love this restaurant! The staff is so friendly and warm! The food is excellent. The service is fantastic. Owen takes such good care of us and Douglas and Michael always ensure we are having a good experience. Highly recommend Casalina!
