My wife and I always enjoy afternoon tea at Double Tree Hilton. A genuine worthwhile experience.

Excellent and having top-up tea was fabulous. I think too much on the cakes. We could not finish the tray however would recommend to everyone. Thank you.

Lovely surroundings, pleasant and helpful staff. Sandwich bread and fillings very basic and thinly spread on the bread, we asked for brown bread and received what looked like 50/50 white/brown bread. Scones lovely too, would have been even nicer if they had been heated nice and warm. Lovely selection of cakes, too many sweet treats, like so many other afternoon tea establishments they could all do with more savoury treats like quiche or sausage roll and less sweet treats. Overall a nice experience, Thank You.

For some reason on this visit the noise of the clientele was a bit overwhelming. It was also difficult to get hot drinks and replenishment of same. Staff were not up to the standards of previous visits. Has put us off a bit about returning.

This is the second year I've been here with my sister in law to celebrate her birthday. Its been lovely both times. Service can be a bit slow but staff are lovely. Only thing I'd say is they ask if it's a special occasion ( birthday etc) but don't do anything to mark it as such . Good value for money though.

Our waitress when we arrived at our table was never seen again after bringing our prosecco. This meant tables on either side of us were regularly cleared. Ours wasn't. They were brought a pot of tea. We didn't get this option. Really felt left out. Also I stated my friend was vegetarian. But no vegetarian option available. Cakes were delicious. scones very limited. No cream available. It was as if there was an underestimate of food required. Eventually after an hour a kind waiter cleared our table & explained about what was available on other days including entertainment. So altho our experience wasn't very good until this point. He has made us think twice about trying again.

I felt that the quality of the savoury was very poor. Cheap tasting sausage rolls, watery quiche, poor selection of sandwiches. Some of the sandwiches were stale obviously left out too long. The cake selection was good. Would we go again or recommend? No
