   Had a business lunch here - the service was a bit sketchy and I had to go and ask to place our order - the food was reasonable in terms of quality and price - the ambiance was poor as it was 95% empty.

   45 minutes before any food arrived - even appetizers. Advertised as "British" food but the menu was small and anything but British. Service slow even though there were few other customers.

   Was empty when I got there, and it was still not straightforward to get service. The menu I was given had a burger for £22 instead of the £14 it shows on opentable. That’s a 51.7% surprise price hike. I had chosen this place over others for its reasonable enough prices. And every single other item on the menu was too highly priced for an empty restaurant in Earl’s Court. All the prices were much higher (30%-52% higher) than the menu on OpenTable says. This felt like a scam, and I was frustrated enough to get up and walk out.

   Lack of atmosphere. Menu on website was very out of date. Was told it hadn’t been updated. £14.50 for a burger on their menu on website, When we got there it was £22. When I asked for it to be cooked medium I was told it came well done, I then asked if it was a frozen burger and I was told yes. How can you charge £22 for a frozen burger. At that point we got up and walked out..!!

   Walked into an empty restaurant with no staff on hand to receive us. Went to the bar to advise we had a table reserved to be told ok take a seat. Sat there for 5/10 minutes before we went back to bar to order drinks. Then told sorry can only serve water as waiting for bar tender to arrive. Eventually the drinks order came but they didn’t have any Sauvignon blanc as requested and forgot one of the cokes. After this was resolved the food service was much better than our initial experience. Food was wonderful. Shame about the beginning.

   Excellent service nice and quiet at the back able to chat in peace. Brunch offer excellent value would highly recommend

   The place is very relaxed and trendy. The staff has been really nice and careful to make us feel well. and the dishes we tried (crispy squid and ribeye) were delicious. The lemon dessert (kind of cheesecake) was also very good.

    Thought it would be a bog-standard, meat heavy, hotel restaurant. I was badly wrong. The food was delicious, the service impeccable, and I didn’t have to eat a single piece of meat (I’m not vegetarian but I like to eat less meat). I particularly liked the Rigatoni dish. The flavour and included vegetables were splendid. The various salad dishes were superb, with plenty of tomato which is my favourite ingredient. Altogether an excellent place to dine.
