   This is the 3rd time going back for my birthday and I loved it. Great service & friendly staff, great food and good vibes only. Strongly recommend!

   My sister-in-law and I had a wonderful dinner and enjoyed our night at Catalina. Thank you so much for accommodating my request to be seated at a table with a great view and also appreciate the nice touch with the “welcome” sweets for my sister-in-law after dinner. The food (large portions), drinks and ambience at the venue was great and to top it off, we had perfect weather! Please also send our thanks to our waiter, Federico, who was very attentive during the night and kindly offered me sunnies when I was being high-beamed by the sun. Thank you!

   The most outstanding restaurant and food I have ever had. The service was impeccable. We all had an excellent experience. Will recommend to everyone. The tooth fish was out of this world. The best fish I have ever had. My Dad was a fisherman and I am a lover of fish. So happy my friends Andrew and Glen recommended this restaurant.

   Stunning! Catalina was recommended by friends who used to live in Sydney. We had the 7 course tasting menu with wine pairing. A total delight. Exquisite food. Beautiful restaurant location. Top class service. Perfect in every way.

   I am amending this review as I spoke with the owner and believe that our experience was very much an aberration from the normal guest experience they deliver. Catalina refunded the bottle of wine. While this unfortunately could not improve our dining experience, it very much affects my impression of the restaurant and their commitment to great customer service. Original review below…. I was very much looking forward to this dining experience and left highly disappointed. While the food was very good, especially the wagyu sirloin supplement, a slightly tainted bottle of wine and Catalina’s handling of the situation was simply bizarre and unfitting of a fine dining establishment. We ordered a bottle of very difficult to find Sami-Odi MV Shiraz. When it arrived, the sommelier suggested it be decanted and asked who wanted to taste. I affirmed that I was eager to try. He opened the bottle, declared with emphasis that it needed to open for aWHILE, chatted about unrelated matters, and walked away with the tasting glass without presenting me the cork or letting me try the wine. 20 minutes later, I had to track someone down to bring glasses and pour it. Once poured, I immediately noticed that it was slightly corked — which is no doubt the reason why I was afforded the opportunity to taste it when opened. I noted that I believed the bottle was corked. In response, the sommelier needed to go speak to his colleagues, who somehow concluded without coming to my table and smelling the wine that it was not indeed corked, but it was just an aged wine. I’ve had many aged wines. I know the difference. At any rate, they essentially told me I was wrong and refused to do anything about it. We still drank most of the bottle as you could tell it was an exceptional bottle beneath the taint, but honestly I should have just refused to drink it as it really ruined my entire meal. A restaurant with such a fabulous wine list should do better.
