Catch Hospitality Group's eighth location, Catch Dallas, will be opening it's doors in the iconic and historic Maple Terrace Development this Fall. The 16,000 square-foot dining destination in Uptown Dallas will be complete with a two-level outdoor patio and private events in the signature space, the Emerald Room.
The menu will marry simple yet elegant seafood, sushi, and steak both globally and locally influenced alongside beloved signature dishes like the Catch Roll and Truffle Sashimi. Catch Dallas will feature premium Japanese specialties like luxury sushi selections from Tokyo's Toyosu Market and a unique variety of Japanese Wagyu, which is masterfully seared tableside on a hot rock.

My dining experience at Catch Dallas last night was nothing short of extraordinary. Having had the pleasure of visiting both Catch NY and Catch LA, I can confidently assert that this location upholds the same high standards of quality and service that have come to define the Catch brand. The culinary offerings were particularly impressive, especially the fact that the restaurant imports its fish directly from Japan. Each dish reflected an exquisite attention to detail, with flavors that were both vibrant and sophisticated. The freshness of the seafood was palpable, elevating our meal to an exceptional level. The service was equally remarkable. Our server was attentive, but the true highlight was Chef Mikail. His commitment to curating an immaculate dining experience was evident in every aspect of our meal. Chef Mikail’s passion for his craft not only enhanced our enjoyment but also forged a personal connection that made the evening feel uniquely tailored. The wine and cocktail selections were thoughtfully curated, offering unique pairings that complemented the culinary offerings beautifully. Catch Dallas has successfully mirrored the excellence of its predecessors in New York and Los Angeles. I look forward to returning and indulging in their culinary delights once again!

The decor is fantastic, but the service was somewhat lacking (but maybe we just caught the server on a bad night as it felt rushed for a 5:30 reservation). I’ve been to several of Catch’s other locations and this one has the potential to be just as good in time. I will definitely try Catch Dallas again!

The place is beautiful, the service absolutely on point. The food was just ok. Not bad at all but we where expecting more. We got all the specials sushi options, shrimp and chicken appetizers. Nothing out of the extraordinary.

Ken our waiter was attentive and provided excellent service, making sure we had everything we needed. The staff overall was very hospitable, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The food was delicious and exceeded expectations. A great dining experience all around!

Went the Friday after thanksgiving for date night. Was sat upstairs and it was the first night they opened it. The server assigned to our table was slow to come over for intros and drinks so luckily another server was paying attention to us sitting for so long and helped out to get apps and drinks until she could come over. It wasn’t very busy when we got sat so was confused in why the other hadn’t at least stopped yet. Ordered spiced edamame which was really good dry rub so they weren’t soggy but gave great flavor. We also ordered the Caesar salad which was amazing and enough to share for 2-3 people. Then ordered filet skewers, surf and turf roll and mushroom spaghetti which was amazing and must order. You can add shrimp protein but we didn’t need it. We also ordered the Hit me cake for desert and was also great. It did get busier as we were leaving and overall had a great experience. We can’t wait to go back for the food.

Food was delicious, we got to taste several items off the menu and loved all of them from appetizers, entrees to desserts. The ambiance was beautiful. Our server, Jose, was very attentive and made sure we had a great experience. Will definitely recommend for anyone looking for a memorable dining experience in Dallas.

Have to say, after reading hyped media reviews, the restaurant's narrative regarding dress code, etc, we expected much more. Seeing patrons in yoga pants, tees was a surprise. Food was ok but not stellar, service was good but to bring out courses as if the server was just waiting for us to put down our forks from the previous one (and we didnt linger), we felt like we were being pushed out the door. Dishes being removed before others in our party were finished is considered impolite. We might be gray-headed with a 5:30 reservation, but we appreciate a fine restaurant experience. The restaurant wasn't crowded, no wait lines etc. The wine list needs to be fine tuned. Plus side: waitress was quite helpful, martini was nicely cold. Will we be back? Yes, sometime.

10/10 - loved everything about Catching! From the service to the food and overall vibe of the restaurant. Highly recommend dining with friends/family and sampling and sharing a variety of menu items. Will definitely be back!
