CATTIVO (‘Bad Boys’ in Italian) celebrates home-grown, foraged and locally sourced produce and the very best Italian ingredients to create the naughtiest, ‘bad boy’ sourdough pizzas in the North Cotswolds!

CATTIVO is a new venture from the team behind Roots + Seeds Kitchen Garden, which focuses on sustainability and creative cooking in collaboration with restaurateur, chef, and wild game hunter Mike Robinson.

IT'S ALL ABOUT THE DOUGH!
Our secret (not so much a secret) to light, scrumptious pizza, is a preferment also known as a Biga. This 48-hour fermentation period allows the yeast to develop a greater and more complex depth of flavour. That, and Mathews Cotswold Flour makes our pizza dough the BEST!

I was warmly welcomed into the restaurant and shown to my table. It was a Wednesday evening so fairly quiet but still a nice, cosy ambience! Service was great; prompt and polite :) I ordered a margherita pizza with hot honey dip and a glass of wine. Each element of the pizza was delicious- the hot honey dip just added a little extra something! But I could have easily enjoyed the pizza without it, because it had a wonderful flavour and texture. Highly recommend a visit!

A lovely dining experience. The venue has such a cool vibe. Service was fab and the pizza was amazing. Will defo bring Cirencester Meetup Group here again.

Food was outstanding and the atmosphere was friendly and welcoming! The space was small so it felt like we were looked after and the staff were very attentive. 10/10, will be visiting again as soon as we can 👍🏻

I met friends here for dinner, the choice of pizzas was great, something for everyone plus two specials. We had the cheesy garlic bread to start which was amazing, and the tiramisu for pudding which is my favourite pudding and this was the best I’ve ever had. The drinks were locally produced and really nice, I had a light larger and it was really good. The only thing was missing was a tea or coffee.

Fantastic place our 2nd visit within a week, food is great and reasonably priced. Drink selection is good but maybe a more varied wine choice offering slightly better value to purchase by the bottle.

Very good pizzas. They were happy to adapt our topping so that we had mozzarella on our Napolis rather than parmesan, with no extra cost. Pizzas arrived quickly with generous toppings.
