The Caucus Club, located in the Penobscot Building, is an historic, stylish art deco masterpiece featuring two distinct dining spaces, historic bar and live Jazz. The front entrance leads guests to the elegant front dining room with the stage being the focal point. The back entrance leads to the dark and moody back room and bar with space for mingling, cocktails and dining. Adjacent to the bar entrance is the Caucus Club Kitchen, fully viewable from the hallway of the Penobscot building.

The menu centers around the in-house dry-aging room, yielding Prime Steaks and Chops expertly butchered on site. The balance of the menu features seafood and eclectic dishes that change with the seasons. Lunch has its own unique offerings, and the Bar offers distinct offerings for Happy Hour. An extensive wine list is housed in a state of the art cellar with private lockers.

Dress code is business casual at a minimum, and is strictly enforced. Please dress accordingly

Abbiamo preso un filetto buono, uno spare ribs buono anche quello e una zuppa di aragosta. Immangiabili le patatine in contorno

                                                                                              3 people went for x-mad eve dinner. Two ordered filemigon (excelllent), one ordered cod (excellent), Appertiser : tuna tartar (excellent), raw oyster (SOME OF THEM WERE NOT QYITE FRESH), vegetables were all excellent, drinks (cocktails) excellent, desert (excellent). Waiter service was excellent. Overall, we enjoyed the dinner. OYSTER FRESHNESS NEEDS TO IMPROVE!

                                                                                              What a beautiful restaurant, it was our first time here. We were celebrating Christmas Eve just my husband and I. Maryann our waitress was amazing, the food was outstanding and the restaurant has a very cool vibe! We were seated in the bar area and our only complaint is shortly after being seated 2 large parties were seated directly across from us, with 5 small children. I have 4 children but when I’m spending $400 on a dinner on Christmas Eve to escape the chaos at home for a few hours I wasn’t pleased to listen to a screaming infant and loud toddler’s throughout dinner. It was definitely disappointing. My husband voiced our frustration to the manger and he apologized and gifted a a $50 gift card toward our next visit. The gesture was much appreciated but wasn’t necessary we just thought sitting in a bar of a fancy restaurant we would have avoided having to sit near screaming kids.

The food, presentation, piano every single thing was perfect! Best Christmas Eve! We will make this our new tradition! Thank you !!! Merry Christmas!

                                                                                              The Caucus Club has it all. The food is so good, everything we had! The service and management is excellent. They went above and beyond to make our experience wonderful. Highly recommend and we’ll be back again.

                                                                                              Outstanding restaurant! The food and ambience are wonderful. Nice music from an excellent trio. Antonio is the best server in Metro Detroit! The place was packed, and he had several tables, but the service was flawless. Looking forward to returning.

                                                                                              Beautiful experience! Very elegant and classy and considerate. We had a reservation 12/14 for my 30th Birthday. The tables were a little behind, we had a wait time of maybe 10-15 minutes. The owner was very apologetic, and gave us 2 Drinks 🍹 on the house. Tiffany co drink, i highly recommend, pretty , blue smooth drink with a ribbon on it. I absolutely loved it. Blackened salmon, i highly recommend. The taste , the mixture of the rice with its fancy sauce combined, was immaculate! Our waiter , was absolutely phenomenal, educated with the menu and a great sense of humor! Valet services was reliable and quick. Will be back soon ❤️
