CdM Restaurant is inspired to create an environment that is visually creative and art driven while providing high quality, chef driven cuisine. Hollywood producer McG, partnered with restauranteur Jordan Otterbein, have found success in building the iconic A Restaurant in Newport Beach and are thrilled to bring this new concept to Corona Del Mar. We strive for an establishment that is deeply rooted in the community where all can come to enjoy. CDM has creative American cuisine inspired by Executive Chef Elvis Morales.
Under CDM; is a speakeasy experience taking place right below us. There is no password or reservations required. Our talented mixologists excited to take you on a journey to sipping the perfect cocktail.

Excellent and attentive service. Outdoor seating was great. However, the noise level was unacceptable. There was a large party sitting next to us which made our dining experience very poor. Moreover, there were smokers (restaurant patrons) on the sidewalk so we could smell smoke in our seating area. The restaurant was packed so we did not request to be moved. We were seated so close to the large party and did not want to spoil their evening. We did not want to put our wait staff in the awkward position to ask the party to be more considerate to the rest of us sitting next to them so we quickly finished our meal and left. We had high hopes for this restaurant but were ultimately disappointed with our experience.

Atmosphere was good. Bartender was also our server but give him a lot of credit for staying attentive. Food was good but not exceptional and the main course took a LONG time to come out. I would definitely have the Avocado hummus again even though it’s a bit pricey for the amount of hummus they give you. I will NOT try the chopped salad again. Very basic and lacking in flavor depth again, especially for the price. My husband enjoyed the ribs and the corn that came on the side was delicious.

I fell in love with CDM restaurant. The vibe is so sexy. I love the plush seating at every table inside. The service was fabulous. The food was so good and the cocktails were divine. I told my girlfriends that it's rare that a restaurant's ambiance lives up to the pictures, but CDM did just that. I can't wait to go back!

Every time we have been to CDM or Under CDM it has been a great experience. Great food and cocktails. The chicken piccata is amazing and the spicy tuna appetizer is great. Never been disappointed. Service was on point, just a great experience!

We decided on CDM Restaurant to celebrate a birthday. I must say they did a nice job at the start with a personalized menu for the birthday person. The food and service was very good, or waitress Emma made the evening special. They gave a birthday card to the person we were celebrating.
