Cedar + Elm is the heart of The Lodge at St. Edward State Park, a beautifully restored landmark hotel peacefully tucked away in a lush 326-acre forest just 30 minutes from Seattle.

Led by Executive Chef Luke Kolpin (Formerly of Noma and Bravo's Top Chef), Cedar + Elm’s menu is inspired by the undeniable spirit of the region we’re proud to call home. Every ingredient, flavor, and method of preparation is infused with an anchored authenticity. The bounty of each season informs our direction, culminating in familiar and approachable dishes with refined presentations and bold flavors.

Join us for breakfast, lunch, dinner, afternoon tea, or brunch, for an inspired Pacific Northwest dining experience. We also feature live music in our Tonsorium Bar Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday as well as all night happy hour Sunday through Thursday!

Let us guide you through 5 courses of meticulously plated offerings, leaving nothing to be desired. Resident guitar legend and multi-instrumentalist Andre Feriante is composing an evening of romantic music featuring classic vocals from the American songbook, Spanish guitar, violin & guitar duets and love poems over a bed of music. Accompanying Andre is violinist and vocalist Linda Vogt, whose work has been seen in numerous NW orchestras, as well as her tenure in local lounge performances. Andre will bring the charm of his 18 consecutive Valentine's Performances at Benaroya Hall for this fine evening. Small bites included in the price, and full cash bar available. Beautiful setting, refined setting. Everyone in our party thought their food was excellent. I loved the wheat flatbread with “dirty dip” and the Dungeness salad was delicious. Service was excellent as well.

Some of the best food of my life and worth every penny. The view of the sunset is amazing and everything was perfect from the flatbread appetizer to the cocktails.

Very much enjoyed the experience eating in an atmosphere that sends you back in time. The food was excellent, using root vegetables, mushrooms and organic meats. Excellent desserts unique for this restaurant. We will ho back.

This was our first time and we fully enjoyed our experience. The venue is beautiful. The menu was minimal but excellent options and well prepared. Definitely a return trip is in order!

It was our first time at Cedar + Elm and what a really lovely experience. The ambiance was cozy, warm and romantic. The brunch menu is simple and delicious. I love that they have a great selection of lattes as well! This place is perfect for a date or a celebration! It’s hidden in a state park, so you can also plan to do a little “urban” hike while you’re here! This place is quintessential PNW vibes.

We had a quiet Wednesday lunch here. What was good ... An intriguingly curated cocktail menu - we wanted to try them all! The best fries we have ever had - seriously! Worth the visit just to try them. My wife had an outstandingly good Wagyu beef burger. Service was excellent - Jorge is a star! Ambience - it's an airy open restaurant in the lodge and of course in a beautiful setting. What was moderate ... I had a a cauliflower steak with mushrooms and a cauliflower / mushroom puree. It was good, but just a little bland. I'd have liked a dash of something sharp / spicy to add some lift, but then I do like a kick in my lunch. Nevertheless it was good and nicely prepared and presented. And nothing bad at all. An excellent lunch and good value too. Definitely going again, but I may watch the menu for changes in the vegetarian option.

The tea was lovely. Each item was beautifully presented. Live music was a treat. I wish there had been a difference in the sandwiches besides filling. Everything was a two bite item and I’ve never walked away from tea and still could eat more until now.
