We live in the Pier and Celeste is truly one of our favorite places to eat out. Great menu, wonderful ambience, and the folk working there are always so friendly and helpful. If you're in Gansett, or not, well worth if.

The service is good and the atmosphere is pleasant at Celeste, however, the menu is very limited. The restaurant needs to improve on their choices of entrees. Also, a regular mixed drink is $12-$13 which is way overpriced for a pub restaurant. We will not be returning any time soon. The bill was $110 with only one little hot olive appetizer. Also, The salmon and the clams linguine were very small portions. Celeste needs to do better!

Too much mustard on croque monsieur sandwich- made sandwich unpleasant. I tried to remove mustard. Just had a croque m in France- so much better. Salad was all cabbage with oil. Needed some flavor. Server was great. I did not mention my complaint. Not his fault.

The service was excellent although it was quite a busy Saturday night. Glad we made reservations. We were greeted and they immediately acknowledged we had a birthday in our party. After quickly being seated our server came promptly for our drinks then food order without delay, which was nice. Food was impeccable. Thankfully service was not oversolicitous and we were not rushed despite, like I had mentioned, it being a busy night.

Chicken Milanese was tough, not a good piece of chicken. Salad was good and Brussels sprouts delicious.

Our dinner was absolutely fantastic! The food was excellent. The gnocchi. The beet carpaccio. The pasta with sausage and broccoli raab. Best I’ve had!
