    One of the best dining experiences I have had. Our party of 8 was very impressed with the service Kevin provided. His detailed explanations of the drinks and food were unbelievable. Top dining experience, we will be back for sure.

    Truly one of the best dining experiences I have had in a long time. The food was prepared impeccably and with so much boldness and skill. I loved the service and the atmosphere/energy was fantastic . A 10 out of 10.

    Chicken Piccata was so flavorful! Pork chop also perfectly cooked and tender. So delicious! Also loved the fresh baked bread and butter with sea salt on the side. This restaurant is on the pricey side but everything was quality from flavor to presentation. Would love if they expanded their choices for wines by the glass. Ambiance was very nice but very noisy. Overall a wonderful dinner. I would definitely return.

    We are outside on the patio. Very nice and ambience was great. At the end I think our server forgot about us. I would have ordered another glass of wine after dinner but he never came back until later. The hostess came and checked on us to see if there was anything else she could get us and we told her that we were ready for the check as the server did not follow up with us.

    Very fresh and satisfying meal. Each dish had a distinctive, yummy surprise. Great wine list. Cool design space.

    The waitress failed to ask how I wanted my steak cooked and served it “medium rare” but it was clearly raw. When I brought it to her attention, she insisted it comes medium rare. It would be better to ask customers their preferred temperature rather than assuming.

    Excellent dining experience in a comfortable setting. The Spanish sardines appetizer was outstanding, with only a little bit of sardine, and a mixture of other seafoods in a delicious olive oil dressing, with sautéed red peppers. I loved it. My husband had the NY Strip and was very pleased. I also had the 72 degrees cocktail and really liked it; it’s on the sweet side, but the smokiness of the mezcal was wonderful. We topped it off with the olive oil cake for dessert, which was moist and delicious. What a great meal! Would love to return next time we are in town.

    Rainy night, midweek, but it was my birthday ! Beautiful dinner. Butter lettuce salad was incredible / Gruyère cheese was so flavorful. Couscous vegan entree was interesting and minty . Olive oil cake a great birthday cake and then the Alta bread is the star/ took a slice home and I am enjoying it for breakfast now

    Being locals we go to restaurants during the week when support is most needed, so we went to Cella on a Thursday evening. Attendance at 6pm was sparse (and remained so) except for a group seated in the back behind a partition. I asked for a corner table but the hostess with the light brown hair said no and directed the other hostess (darker hair) to take us to … the worse possible table at Cella: the one located at the back along the wall next to the escape exit so in immediate view and earshot of the animated group. Really? With all the empty seats all around? So, we said we do prefer a corner table and so it was. Later a woman from the bar delivered my wine in the wrong glass and with a scowl as a bonus. Not to be picky but when you drink wine only in restaurants the experience matters. In addition, my red wine barely reached the lower 1/3 of a (small) white wine glass. Clearly in a proper red wine glass the amount would have been ridiculous. Perhaps it was the end of the bottle? When four people sat two tables away from us and ordered two bottles of different wines they were provided with the correct glasses. When I mentioned the fact to our lovely waitress she said she had noticed, well then why did she not offer to correct the order? My wine also was a mid range ($17/glass!) was this a factor? Would an order of a more expensive wine get the proper treatment? Eating at a restaurant is a “holistic” experience where food is only one aspect, albeit a crucial one of course. The dismal seating experience, the scowling bartender, the wrong glass and the lack of intervention from our otherwise delightful waitress were a letdown after our high expectations for Cella. Was it incompetence? Snobbery? A really bad day? We shall not come back to find out. Our bill was $200 and we added a 20% tip. A 3 medium size scallops entrée ($52), another entrée, 6 oysters, one order of French fries, one water, and the little glass of red wine.
