   Had a superb meal - took advantage of £12 Tuesday. Great atmosphere and will definitely be returning with friends!!

   We have been here before and was very nice. We came in yesterday and unfortunately everything looked the same but the food wasn't as fresh as it was before. Potatoes like stones.

   No better place than sitting in the garden at The Cellar House, particularly on a sunny day. The service was faultless and food excellent.

   Beautifully cooked food, especially the fish and chips (always g/f) and the gammon! All well served and piping hot! The last chips were still steaming at the end of the meal. That’s a huge bonus as far as we’re concerned. No room for dessert as we’d had starters too! The noise level for those with hearing problems was quite high, and not helped by the speaker on the wall nearby. We could hear people on other tables better than each other. Overall though, we had a super lunch and already recommend the Cellar House as a good place to go to all our friends.

   Nice welcome, proper pub atmosphere, lovely food. As an observation the menu was rather limited for someone with a need for dairy exclusion but this is not uncommon in dining out and the Menu is available on website. We very very nicely attended to by the staff.

   My friend and I both Ordered steak, medium rare, however, both were served raw. Requested replacement steaks again, medium rare. Unfortunately, these were completely raw and we were unable to eat them. Staff made no consideration for the fact that you were unable to eat the steaks . The evening with a £12 meal however, this was very poor they delivered.

   Lovely staff and very good service. Starter( chorizo) very good . Tiramisu delicious. Wine ( Gamay) good and reasonably priced. Steak and chips slightly disappointing- last time the steak was melt I n the mouth gorgeous ( and I’m not a great steak fan), but tonight it had little to recommend it, although the chips were great. However, won’t stop me returning- very good value for £12 Tuesday.

   Another exemplary meal at the Cellar House. The waiting staff are very attentive but not over the top. A reasonable selection of ales. Personally I'd rather see a few more real ales on, but that's just me. A good selection of reasonably priced wine. The Tuesday £12.00 mains selection is very good. My wife had the Sea Trout which she says was nicely cooked, very tasty and well presented. I had the 6oz Sirloin. This was superbly cook (just) 😋 I like it rare and that's just how it came. So many places offer steaks but very few can cook a rare steak properly. The Cellar House excels. Again very well presented. The only negative was we weren't seated in the bar / dining area. The quieter and slightly sanitised separate dining room isn't really to our taste. Personal preference. It is very nicely presented though, just like the food. We will of course return. It's just around the corner. We'll book more in advance next time and request to be seated in the bar/dining area of the pub. Thank you Cellat House for a lovely meal.

    My wife and I ordered from the £12 Tuesday menu. The food was very good and the service was excellent. We will return again soon! Thank you.
