We would like to invite you to enjoy dinner in little Europe. Our restaurant is fully family-owned. You will meet the grandma who's cooking everyday at the restaurant, you will enjoy our freshly baked bread and delicious food!
The Chanta family invites you to our home, where we will offer you authentic European food, hospitality and warmth! We started our restaurant business in Romania, over 8 years ago and we have three restaurants there. This is our first restaurant in the States, which opened in June 2020. We highly recommend the lamb chops specialty and all the homemade breads we have. The restaurant is beautifully designed for a cozy, intimate dinner. Enjoy your journey!

                                                                                                                                                We opted to go to Chanta because, being of European descent, we wanted to enjoy some fine dining reminiscent of our ancestors. The food was exquisite; every dish enjoyed by our party of four exceeded expectations. But the ambiance and hospitality was the real surprise: this is a family-owned restaurant —- grandma in the kitchen, her son working the grill, and granddaughters welcoming and serving guests — where you are quickly part of the family. Everyone seemed genuinely glad to see you, and make sure your dining experience was thoroughly enjoyable. We had a wonderful evening at Chanta that extended far beyond our delicious meals. It is a gem of an establishment that I recommend most highly.

                                                                                                                                                We love dining at Chanta whenever we are in Tampa. Our daughter is a senior at the University of Tampa – and this restaurant is hidden on a side street right across from campus. The family that runs this restaurant is wonderful. The food is amazing, the wait staff is very attentive and informative, and we love eating outside where it is quiet in their covered seating area filled with flowers and plants. I have even purchased gift certificates to give to roommates’ parents to dine here when they are in town. A definite must while in Tampa!

                                                                                                                                                I fell in love with Chanta’s charming restaurant! From the food to the ambiance, everything was spectacular. I especially loved meeting the chef and her family. They were so sweet and inviting. I highly recommend it!
