Chapman House is a modern American restaurant inspired by a wide heritage of culinary tradition. Menus are written based on daily market availability that changes throughout the seasons and the wide array of fresh ingredients sourced from the Great Lakes region. Our mission is to deliver memorable dining experiences through extraordinary cuisine and engaged personal service.

Chapman House is a mixed-use facility including a restaurant serving inspired cuisine, a full bar area, indoor & outdoor dining and significant private dining spaces. The backyard of the property has been designed to accommodate a myriad of events, and will be available for private gatherings, such as showers, intimate wedding ceremonies & receptions and corporate gatherings. Additionally, the backyard contains two petanque courts, the first of their kind in the area.

I have had several wonderful experiences with the Chapman House and felt that when an establishment puts this much effort into making every quest's experience as great as ours have been, its worth sharing. Our family has dined here for brunch, dinner, and most recently a special occasion I hosted for my niece, a bridal shower. From the outside, the Chapman house appears to be "Grand", possibly even a bit intimidating to someone passing by. It is everything "Grand" on the inside, but least of all intimidating. The staff is personable and professional, and remembers their guests the way a local neighborhood haunt should. The menu is fresh, locally sourced, palatability scrumptious, and there is something for everyone. After having several great meals at the Chapman House I decided to host my special event there. Geoffrey Dancik, the owner, personally made sure everything was perfect for my niece's big day. Chef Chris put together a fabulous menu and everything from the ambiance to our service, could not have been better. The Chapman House is a Chic establishment with a fun venue, and surprisingly affordable. Truly, Rochester's best kept secret.

This was our first dining experience at Chapman House and we were very impressed! We understand that there is a fresh menu daily that reflects the availability of fresh organic ingredients. First, we wish to thank Konesha, our waitress, for her delightful personality and knowledge concerning the history of the Chapman House and the menu items. This definitely set a positive tone for the evening. Although the portions are relatively small, the tantalizing tastes of the panzanella and compressed watermelon appetizers we shared (2 people) were enjoyed. The main dish, King Salmon was complemented by a stone fruit (peaches) side dish that only enhanced the flavors. For dessert, we enjoyed a Summer berry trifle (blueberries and strawberries) that was so delicate and light, you hardly knew you were consuming any calories! (Their angel cake is homemade daily and very fluffy; it is unlike anything available locally.) Overall, the meal was "heavenly".

Absolutely beautiful venue , great local food, prepared to perfection, inclusive of gluten free options!! The service is on spot . We had a beautiful night out, thanks!

Wonderful, excellent food, drinks and service. Rosie our server was outstanding. I will be returning very, very soon. Chef Chris along with Chef Dan and Chef Kayla work magic with Farm fresh food. It is the best restaurant in the greater Rochester area.

Wonderful ambience, food and service. An extraordinary farm to table experience. We will be back to sample the many events and ideas this restaurant has on its future menu.

Great been there many times wonderful addition to our area. Should do some type of frequent diner club people in Rochester like that might draw more people in we have to do whatever we can do to stay open in Rochester

In general , a wonderful place. I was disappointed with my entree though. The duck breast was fatty and had a weird texture, like it wasn't cooked enough. Every thing else was very good. Also felt the prices were very high

The menu is brief however all produce is local therefore much appreciated. The food is delicious and well prepared. I recommend this restaurant to others as it is a great "date night" spot. The staff members are also very polite and attentive. Also the menu frequently changes so if you lpve your meal hurry back soon!
