Charley's Steak House is owned by the Woodsby family and has operated in Florida since 1974. Charley’s serves only three-year-old USDA prime and choice Angus steers, aging them four to six weeks for tenderness & flavor and hand-cutting the steaks daily to ensure consistent quality. The steaks are then flame-broiled over Florida citrus and oak wood in a custom-built pit at 1200º searing in the tantalizing taste that has made Charley’s the #1 steakhouse in America every year since 2007! Charley’s philosophy of providing only the finest extends from the kitchen to the wine cellar. The wine list approaches 500 selections from scores of exceptional wineries around the globe. Charley’s has been recognized with numerous awards including “Best of Award of Excellence” from Wine Spectator magazine, DiRōNA and Orlando Magazine’s“ Best Steak House & Best Old Favorite”.     If you’re wanting a slow elegant dinning this is for you. This is a very drawn out process.. I personally wasn’t overly impressed for the price, but others in my family really enjoyed their dish. We had 2 servers, the one was a little too much, and stayed at our table while first getting our meal served making it weird for us to eat and enjoy. Personally I don’t think this place is for me, but others in my family would return. I think it all depends on personal preference. The place was clean and quiet. They made my husband remove his ball cap even though he was dressed nice, but we sat next to a gentleman that was on his phone in the dinning area.

    We love the high top tables in the bar area! The chairs are so comfy and you also have great service. Sebastian is always on top of everything! He is our favorite server in the bar! The manager, Jennifer visits every table to make sure you dinner is absolutely perfect! Hidden gem is the Fried shrimp platter! Unbelievable! Can’t go wrong with anything on the menu!

    We are never disappointed with Charley’s and always recommend them to our friends, family and clients when they are near Orlando. A special thank you to Jennifer, Annette and the staff for always making every meal perfect. Don’t hesitate to ask to sit at the Georgetti table if you are in town!!!!

    The service and food was great. I highly recommend the salmon and the filet as well as salads, au gratin potatoes and salted caramel brownie with Woodford caramel sauce and salted caramel ice cream was a wonderful ending to our dinner.
