   We had high hopes for this experience, especially given the stunning waterfront views and fine dining price point. Making a reservation was easy, and we were warmly welcomed by our very pleasant and accommodating server. The cocktails were lovely, and the cod was truly excellent. We also appreciated the manager’s efforts to make things right—he took the time to address our concerns and comped the items that didn’t meet expectations. That said, the experience as a whole fell short. While we appreciate a leisurely pace when celebrating special occasions, the service was excessively slow—crossing the line from relaxed to inattentive. It took far too long between courses and to get basic requests fulfilled, which detracted from what should have felt like a special occasion. Several dishes also lacked attention to detail: my salad had browning lettuce, the prime rib and carrots were overcooked, and the bacon cheese potatoes were oily and watery. A missing béarnaise sauce was an honest mistake, but it took so long to get it that my steak had gone cold. Unfortunately, the steaks themselves were underwhelming, and the lava cake tasted mass-produced. There were also smaller service missteps—like dirty dishes left in front of us that we ended up handing to our server—that, while minor individually, added up to a disappointing experience overall. I hope they work out the inconsistencies because the views are perfect.

   Although Mothers Day was very busy, the staff handled it well. The service was attentive. The food was declicious. The salmon nicoise was a creative combination of two classics. The tomato beurre blanc worked well with the sea bass. The seafood linguini was packed with seafood, although the promised bone marrow toast accompaniment was just plain toast.

   I understand it was Mother's Day, but we had to wait a long time for our table despite having a reservation. By the time we were seated, they had stopped offering the brunch menu, so we had to choose from the lunch/dinner menu instead. The prices were quite high, so we opted for appetizers. The crab cake was mediocre, and the soft shell crab underneath was inedible. The meatballs we ordered were served cold, but the oysters were delicious. Overall, it was a mixed bag of experiences.

   background music too loud. Service was terrible -- waiter seemed to disappear. Food was pretty good -- dont expect to return.

   ★☆☆☆☆ (1/5 stars) Despite having a reservation, we were kept waiting for 50 minutes past our scheduled time. While I understand that delays can happen, what made this particularly frustrating was the complete lack of communication or apology from the staff during our wait. Once finally seated, our experience went from bad to worse. The first three items we attempted to order were unavailable. At a restaurant of this supposed caliber, having multiple menu items out of stock is simply unacceptable. It's especially frustrating when you've been waiting nearly an hour and are ready to order. When we raised our concerns with the manager, hoping for some acknowledgment of the poor experience, we were met with indifference. No apology, no attempt to make things right, no offer to compensate for the inconvenience - just a shrug and business as usual. For a restaurant charging premium prices, the service and management response were shockingly poor. There are plenty of other upscale dining options in the area that actually deliver on both food availability and customer service. I cannot recommend this establishment and will not be returning. Save your money and your time - dine elsewhere.

   A sad experience. Booked through Open Table which populated my Google calendar and served a reminder with request to confirm ((I did), when I arrived at the restaurant, they had no reservation. It was Friday night and busy. They told us they could seat us in 30 minutes anyway. An hour and a half later, we were still in the bar. Experience was disappointing and exhausting. The food was over the top in presentation, so spectacular that it was questionably good. Our server basically didn’t know what he was talking about.  We were very excited about taking our family to this restaurant and had a miserable experience. Doubt we will ever return.

    We celebrated our son’s engagement and we appreciated that Chart House Prime accommodated our dinner time request for 8 of us. The food was good and the ambience cheerful, but the service was sooooo slow! Also, our son ordered the oyster appetizer and it arrived with the main meal. Would I go back? Maybe. But for the prices, I felt the service could have been more expedient.
