Came here for New Years Eve and it was perfect! Nice 3 course meal, tasty drinks, attentive staff and a window seat to see the fireworks at midnight. Couldn’t ask for a better night.

The Chart House Alexandria was an outstanding experience to celebrate our 27th wedding anniversary on New Years Eve. The food was excellent, service and our table location were outstanding. We will be back again soon. Thank you for such a wonderful evening.

Filet mignon was much fattier than I’m used to. The chocolate lava cake was cold. And, the waiter spilled ice onto table while making my smoked old fashioned cocktail and used to broken ice in the drink anyway. It’s a busy holiday evening, so I get that speed was emphasized.. but the sacrifices to quality impacted the experience. The price point was fair if the experience was on point. Sadly, tonight missed the mark.

I've dined at this Chart House location over the years, and discovered this time that the food is sub-par quality. The prime rib was tough and chewy, and the Chilean sea bass was virtually tasteless. It used to be a very special experience to dine at the Chart House and now it's just meh. Likely won't be returning.

Very disappointing food. I eat salmon a lot and have had good salmon there in the past but I seriously question whether what I was served was salmon. Nothing like I’ve ever tasted in flavor or consistency- whether Atlantic or Pacific. Did not eat it The mixed vegetable dish was 95% potatoes and 5% brussel sprouts with no flavor at all

Food was cold. Had to send back appetizer. Portions very small. Forget to bring side dish and didnt add salsa to fish as ordered.

Our reservations were for 1pm. There were not a lot of people in the restaurant and our seating was in an area with a great view all around of the river front and a nice fire place in the middle of the area. Service was friendly and fast and the food was great. Noise level was low so we did not have to raise our voices for conversation. All around great experience.
