Our Thanksgiving dinner experience at Chart House in Cardiff was sensational! From the exceptional service (shout out to our server, Raye) to the outstanding food and ambiance, we were truly impressed. There was a price fixe menu for the holiday (at a reasonable price compared to most places in town), and the turkey entree was excellent. The turkey was moist and plentiful, the stuffing tasted just like mom's, there was a choice of potato, a vegetable, and cranberry sauce. Everything on the plate tasted so good, just like your traditional Thanksgiving, and my husband thought the serving size was very generous. The price fixe menu also included your choice of starter and dessert. The lobster bisque and kale salad were both wonderful. There were also about 9 other entrees to choose from. I had the filet and shrimp combo and it was absolutely delicious; prepared to perfection. The restaurant was packed. Be sure to get your reservation early next year. I highly recommend it!

We expected a Thanksgiving 3pm dinner to be loud, busy and crowede and were not surprised that it was as expected. What trumped all that, however, was great service and good food, as we've come to expect at Chart House. Thanks to Brannon and the chefs, we had a memorable Thanksgiving dinner.

We decided to eat in the bar area when we realized Brandon was going to be our server as he is also a bartender extraordinaire! I’m a local who loves to come to the Chart House whenever I can. Brandon was very attentive but never pressured us to hurry up and order. We were allowed to enjoy our cocktails and savor the amazing view. When the food did arrive, it was all cooked to perfection. I was a bit reticent to order the turkey dinner. But it was even better than many of the home cooked meals I’ve had over the years!! I thought the prices were very reasonable for the amount and quality we enjoyed. I even came home with leftovers! Thank you, Brandon and Chart House for hiring such devoted, kind servers. Waitress came to get drink order and asked about appetizer before we had a chance to look at what was available. She said she'd back in a couple of minutes. That turned into about 20-30 minutes--when she brought our drinks out. That seemed to play out the entire time--she's be gone for a while before returning. - Leaving before we could ask about dressing for the salad - Quickly walking off if we made one request without first checking if there were others - Bringing out boxes for leftovers several minutes before bringing dessert Also, not that it's a big deal, but I was disappointed that there was no seasonal/holiday cocktails available. There some good cocktails on the menu, but none really fit the holiday.

Ashland was a great server. Her smile would lift anyone’s spirits. What a wonderful experience. Great Thanksgiving dinner with no fuss or cleanup.

The Turkey Dinner on Thanksgiving was a disappointment. I've ordered this dinner several times over the past years. It used to be much better. My Turkey dinner on November 28, 2024 at the Cardiff Chart was not very good. My main complaint was the turkey meat itself. It appeared to be cut up turkey from a deli, not real turkey meat from a cooked turkey. The meat was dry and had little flavor. There wasn't enough gravy served on it to moisten it up and try to make it more tasty. The mashed potatoes were dry and barely warm. This was the kind of Turkey plate I would expect from a place like Denny's for $15.99 and not from a nice restaurant for $69.00. My son and I have always enjoyed having Thanksgiving lunch at the Cardiff Chart house in the past; the ocean view and ambience are great.
