   Ottmo ristorante con bellissima vista. Abbiamo mangiato un king crab strepitoso. Personale molto gentile e premuroso.

   Pessima esperienza. Non so se il problema sia il ristorante oppure OpenTable. In ogni caso l’accoglienza è stata fredda, formale e scortese. Avevo segnalato che si trattava del compleanno di mio marito ed avevo anche scritto un messaggio per chiedere di darmi un buon tavolo panoramico e magari preparare un dolce per spegnere una candelina simbolica, risultato: siamo stati totalmente ignorati, la candela fortunatamente l’avevo portata io e l’abbiamo spenta su un dolcetto singolo, prima di farci sedere ci hanno fatto attendere 25 minuti senza nemmeno scusarsi e ci hanno fatto sedere solo quando io, ormai spazientita, mi sono alzata per protestare. La cosa che mi ha sorpreso è stata che poi, quando ci siamo seduti, in un tavolo tondo per almeno 8 persone (eravamo 4), ho notato che almeno un paio di tavolo da 4 in ottima posizione sono rimasti vuoti per l’intera serata. Ripeto,credo che il problema nasca da una interpretazione molto personale del rapporto tra questo particolare ristorante e OpenTable, però non mi è successo solo a Monterey, ma anche a San Diego al ristorante Donovan.. In ogni caso il vostro slogan dice “non vediamo l’ora di avervi con noi” o qualcosa del genere. In questo caso non è stato così! Credo che opentable dovrebbe chiarire meglio la propria politica di accoglienza con i suoi ristoranti.

   Excellent food and service! Celebrated several birthdays with our party of 9 and they were very accommodating. The view was fabulous! Saw wildlife in the ocean while enjoying our meal.

   We’ve been going here for years. This time, our server was sometimes 10-20 min before checking in, refills and taking plates away. We came for my daughter’s birthday, and my wife’s celebration. It was chart house flair for the details on the menus, but second accommodation was ignored. Food was really good, server was too occupied with other tables. But as said before, we’ve been coming here since 2012 and have never had any issues. Chefs, excellent job with our sea food, steaks and others. Always top notch.

   Our reservation was basically ignored and we were left waiting for more than 20 minutes. But after the rough start, we had a good meal and service at Chart House at a window overlooking Monterey Bay. Entrees were OK, but the wine and dessert options could be better — this is a chain and it showed.

   One of our favorite special occasion restaurants. Excellent food and stunning views of Monterey Bay. Service is good.

   We dined twice at the Chart House on our trip to Monterey for my birthday and had a wonderful experience both nights. We had a lovely window table both nights, two fabulous dinners and both nights Ashley was our wait person who made the evenings so much more enjoyable. The complementary chocolate mud pie for dessert was the finishing touch to a memorable evening. Definately will return on our next trip.

   I guess one thing we were a bit disappointed is that we were not asked to be sit at window seat. we had our reservation and we were pretty early for the day, so most of the seats are open. We could add a note to our reservation, but it would be better if the host asks us that when we arrived. That would be something maybe put into consideration to make the dinning experience more pleasant. Thanks.

    Food was amazing! The best lobster bisque I ever had we even took an extra one to go, chicken was so tender, beautiful view. Service was outstanding.
