Went for my birthday dinner and it was outstanding. The food and drinks are so good. They even gave me a nice happy birthday desert with a candle on it. Had a great time.

The customer service at Tower of Americas/Chart House left a very bad taste in my mouth. From the initial interaction with the parking attendant, to the security guard and lack of signage directing how to get from the parking lot to the Tower. Downstairs checked in with a very unpleasant host who directs my party to wait at the bar, again no directions or communication on which way to go. While we lined up to wait for the elevator, hoping it was the correct one, I asked the photo attnedant if the bar was upstairs, whose response was “you didn’t know the bar was upstairs.”!! (I assume this was her position as she was standing next to a camera) We were never asked if we wanted a photo taken, only criticized for not knowing our way around. Dinner was mediocre, steaks were warm and the prices were better than most restaurants of this scale. After dinner we waited for an elevator for 20+ minutes only to see the elevator open, already full, three times. The 4th time new people rushed inside and filled it very quickly passing the people waiting. On the elevator there was a young man yelling that 3 people needed to get off or he wasn’t going anywhere. This finally prompted a very unprofessional manager with face piercings. Instead of sympathizing with the guests that had waited over 20 minutes she sided with the elevator attendant and started being very rude telling people they needed to get off. Myself and my friend left the elevator to avoid others having to wait despite other people being on the elevator that had just walked up. There definitely needs to be a different process to board the elevators as it seemed very chaotic. The only positive interaction I had the whole evening was with a young lady whom I assume was a manager because she was wearing a dress instead of a uniform. She was very calm and empathetic with her responses and did a great job communicating how many people could board the elevator and how long it would take. 3/10

Reservation was food 6:45, did not get in until 7:20 and seated until 7:30. Food was extremely sweet and the elevators took so long

An absolute nightmare of a restaurant. Waited over 30 minutes to get on the elevator to leave. When I asked the incompetent manager whether they had a system for allowing people in and out of the elevator, she said no, just first come first serve, leading people to fight for a spot on the elevator. Reprehensible. Only highlight was Jarvis, a true delight!

Brandon our server was terrific - he was very attentive and polite. Hostess staff was a little rough looking - no smiles, looked more bothered to be asked a for assistance. Asked for the ladies room to be refreshed as there was hardly any hand towels or TP - used it again before I left and they put hand towels and didn’t refresh TP or remove overflowing trash bin. Someone left dirty sanitary napkin folded. Not exactly what you expect for a ChartHouse experience.
