Perched on the rooftop of Pendry Chicago, this indoor-outdoor al fresco destination evokes the airy, effortless allure of the French countryside with a sun-drenched garden setting overlooking the city.

The service was awful. To charge in order to sit in a cabana and not provide good service is a very poor value. Limited menu and high prices

The concept is cute, but they don’t have winter themed cocktails. Going outside in the cold to drink what seem like summer drinks was a bit disappointing. Having something like a boozy hot chocolate or chocolate martini would be ideal in a winter setting. The fire pit wasn’t lit for our reserved time and took a while to light. There were no blankets in the little huts to compliment the cozy feeling, they seemed sparse all around. There was also no music which sort of killed the vibe. Also, the huts block the city view so you can’t see the surroundings. It was disappointing all around, especially given there’s a spend minimum. We could tell our server wanted us to stay due to no other bookings. Just thinking if these things were all changed they would get more bookings.

Overall great vibes! I came here for a couple of drinks and a snack, so I cannot comment much on the food, but the drinks were delicious! I highly recommend getting a reservation as well as going for early time slots to avoid crowds!

We waited 30 minutes for a popcorn appetizer. The waitress said it was prepared fresh, explaining the delay. The popcorn was chewy and stale.

Came here for my mom’s birthday. The ambience on the patio is amazing and the decor is also very pretty. However I was unfortunately let down because: 1. I booked a table in advance and our table was not ready when we arrived 2. We did not get service, not even water, for about 20 minutes 3. The food selection is quite limited. A small selection of snacks that are not very filling. A limited selection is fine, however I suggest adding small dish options that are a bit more filling. I would still recommend this location if you want an easy going night and a few drinks. Also note that seating on the outdoor balcony is not guaranteed.

Service was slow and the hostess was ever unprofessional and rude. The waitress was very respectful. We will unfortunately not going to return due to the poor service and unprofessional hostess
