                                                                          As always a delicious meal. We shared the cheese plate among the table. The bouillabaisse was outstanding. And the Pear Belle Helene was very tasty. It has to be healthy, it has fruit in it.!

                                                                          This is probably my favorite place to eat in Nashville. The food, service and ambiance are consistently top grade. It is always quiet enough to have a conversation. When I want to celebrate with someone, I treat them to a meal at chateau West.

                                                                          We have always considered Chateau West to be one of our favorite restaurants but will reconsider our selection in the future. The food was very good and the service we received was excellent but the prices were higher than those in comparable restaurants and our meal was over $100 without any alcohol and excluding the tip. We asked for a quiet, private table both when we made our reservation and when we arrived. However, we were seated at a table about two feet from another couple in a nearly empty restaurant. This made our dining experience less enjoyable and it appeared it did for the other couple also. We admit we should have asked for a different table but did not. However, we also think our request should have been given more consideration without our asking. By the time we left, we noticed many more diners had arrived and there was only one server working very hard to accommodate all of them. We were certainly glad we had an early reservation and received excellent, attentive service. We probably will not dine at Chateau West again.

                                                                          So disappointed, this is not a French Restaurant experience. From “host” greeting who took us to our reserved table to see it wasn’t ready and tried to stick us at the bar even though there were several other tables ready. Food took forever, mediocre quality with 5-star prices. We actually tried to get the check to leave between courses as it didn’t seem like the mains were ever going to show. Lights way too bright lacking ambiance. Definitely skip this place!

                                                                          We had a delicious dinner at Chateau which has never failed us. Our server was awesome, the appetizers (calamari and smoked salmon) delicious and our entrees(bouillabaisse and scallops) were over the top! A wonderful experience!

                                                                          It had been many years since I had eaten here. The calamari was wonderful. We shared the foie gras pate. I unfortunately was not impressed. The flavor to me was mainly cream. I had mussels for lunch. They were good although for my taste, the juice needed a little more garlic. Our waiter was a gentleman from Turkey and was wonderful.
