                                                                          An amazing dining experience. Duck was wonderful. Scallops so so good. Beef B was as good as we’ve had anywhere - better than most! Service impeccable. A+ experience.

                                                                          Sat., Nov. 9, 2024. First time experience at Chateau West. Charming Gallic ambience, lively crowd. Service slow at first, finally picked up. Bread was brought late, almost as an afterthought. My friend's soup was good, and my bacon and spinach salad was the best thing I ate all night. Alas, my friend's sea bass was so full of bones as to render it barely edible. Nothing but a struggle! My pork chop was tasty but hard to cut, thick but not tender. The side vegetables were fine. The red wine, the after-dinner Campari, and the coffee were all very good. My friend's dessert was too flaky; it was tasty but seemed less than fresh. The highlight of the evening was when the friendly couple next to us was having some Crepes Suzette flamed at their table, and they generously offered to give us a taste, and the waiter doing the cooking obliged us with a small plate of our own. The crepes were delicious! With the main dishes so disappointing, I'm not sure I would ever come back -- at least not on my dime.

                                                                          Absolutely one of the best restaurants in Nashville! The grouper and filet special was excellent. The service was staff, top notch. We will definitely be coming back next time we’re in Nashville.

                                                                          This is our staple restaurant. They always make you feel comfortable and the staff is amazing! The food is delicious and the prices good. We here once or twice a month.

                                                                          We chose Chateau West for my birthday dinner (noted it on the reservation as well as telling our server). However, they didn’t acknowledge it until my husband told them again while paying the bill. Two other tables did receive a birthday dessert + candle. Our food was under seasoned and my husband’s steak was not cooked to temp. They apologized saying the large party had taken most of their attention for the evening. It seemed only one server was taking care of the entire restaurant. I was not impressed with service or food and kind of wish I’d chosen a different place for a birthday meal.
