Chateau-X has quite the story, born out of lockdown, we took a luxurious chateaubriand experience to homes across the UK.

Growing our offering throughout lockdown saw demand for us to increase so much, we knew we couldn't stop when life resumed to the 'new normal'.

That brings us to today, Chateau-X in Finnieston, our first official restaurant, home to our luxurious Chateaubriand experience, for a reasonable price. Not skipping out on quality either as you might know already, we're vocal about being local.

Our mission is simple - bring top quality British sourced meat and produce to our community, with a bit of banter on the side. So, what are you waiting for?

Booked a table for 6pm and were asked to move to another table due to the next booking arriving..7.20pm. We still had drinks and coffee to finish. After moving us to another table we were then asked to leave the restaurant as they needed that table too, we were told they had given us enough extra time! 1 hour & 15mins to enjoy your dinner is definitely not enough time.

We waited quite a long time for our food - around 35 minutes but the roast dinner was delicious and worth the wait.

Best steak cooked to perfection, shared a chateaubriand and the sticky beef mac n cheese also had mushrooms and chips also had prawns to share it was simply delicious highly recommend. The server was great also

The selection is amazing every dish looked great we had the Chateaubreiand with a selection of ved and potatoes. This was after we had the donuts and briueche then the cheeecake. Was our first time wont be our last

Nice place! Steak and frites Wednesday, good value. Steak a little too pink for my taste. Friendly staff.

From entering to leaving the service was first class. Food was cooked to perfection and the side dishes were delicious Would recommend very highly. Great value for money

Service was very slow. Table was very awkward in a corner and we were extremely close to the booth beside us. When person at the next table needed to leave her table my husband had to get up from his chair and move to let her out. Menu very limited

We had a young baby with us who was a little fussy but we controlled it, felt rushed, cocktails were done in 3 sips, chateau was actually very small, cold, chips like warm, everything tasted ok but didn’t blow us away, we left hungry and went to McDonald’s….

Never disappoints. The staff were very attentive, service was brilliant. The food was just incredible, cannot recommend enough and we always look forward to coming back.
