   As usual, Cheeves was fantastic. Dee Dee was great as always, and everything was cooked perfectly.

   High end restaurants in our area. Appetizer scud mini crab cakes but was deep fried crab balls like hush puppies. Wedge salad now substitute carrots for bacon. It used to be my husband favorite salad. They have changed a lot on the menu that made you come back. The crab cakes used to be crab cakes. Their tea used to have a mint flavor I think but it was delicious. It was Mother’s Day and I brought my adult children for the 1st time and they were not impressed. We just had eaten at Landry’s in San Antonio a week ago and their crab cakes were outstanding. Next time the kids said we will go to Austin and eat at Eddie V’s. Service was great.

   This was an amazing experience with top notch service. The food was amazing. Pricey but worth is as a special treat!

   Awesome staff and ambiance. Staff answered all our questions and made outstanding recommendations. Price points were a bit high. $46 for a 6 ounce steak was okay but $122 for lobster was a bit much. Also, $12.50 an ounce for liquor was a bit much considering an entire bottle cost $33 for a 750 bottle. Given all, we may go back again for the great food.

   We celebrated our 3yr anniversary and everything was great. We both got the filet with mash potatoes and shared the cheese cake for dessert. Both our steaks were cooked to perfection! My wife added the red wine reduction went perfectly with the steak. We can’t wait to come back again!

    Best ribeye I've had among many nice steak houses. Those who ordered filets were happy too, although one was a little over cooked (without asking, they replaced it...wow). Raw oysters were not separated from shell and were very tiny, but good. The many appetizers we ordered were all good. Lobster nice and tender. Service (by Didi) very good and prompt. Nice ambience. Only let down was the banana foster flambe which most nice steakhouses prepare at your table for a nice show...this one was prepared several feet from the table (wouldn't have even noticed if I hadn't accidently looked in that direction). With 20% tip, total of $1200 for 6 people who aren't shy about ordering what they want. Pretty good seeing as how a 12-person dinner at a nice steakhouse in Little Rock recently ran $3000 with tip. Would definitely recommend Cheeves. Note, however, that we arrived in Temple early assuming the downtown area would have some nice shops to check out before dinner. That was not the case at all.
