I can say, this restaurant is one of best in Louisiana. What a pleasure was to eat here. Highly recommended, excellent food and service.

Try the Duck Confit; it was prepared just right. Oysters also great, as were the steaks, especially the American Wagyu and the 1885 Nebraska. Service was friendly and precise. Seats by the floor to ceiling window have spectacular views of the river and all the shipping traffic.

Great evening. The outdoor view was amazing overlooking the river and watching the Paddlewheeler Creole Queen board while we dined. It was a great dinner food was amazing and service was great.

We have been to Chemin several times in the past and it has always been good but tonight was exceptional. Several changes to the menu since our last visit and everything we ordered was wonderful . A very ‘approachable’ menu for locals who like new takes on familiar offerings like their Shrimp Raphael . Highly recommend it for a special memorable evening .

I had to send back my fish dinner it was too oily. Not worth the price. I was expecting the food quality to be better.

Beautiful view - service is excellent. We sat at the bar and had the seafood tower which was delicious. The oyster bar has a lovely range.
